I decided that I wanted a nipple piercing when I became friends with a girl in one of my classes who had hers done . The minute I saw it I fell totally in love with it . She had told me that she had gone to Bushido to get it done because they are the only place in Calgary who will pierce a girl's nipple if she's under eighteen .

So many months later I decided I was ready to get what I'd been told was the most painful piercing I could get . Now I'm pretty good with pain especially when it comes to piercings because I know that its going to be great in the end and totally worth it so I wasn't too worried . So I made my boyfriend take me to Bushido . I went in and was totally disappointed . They told me that the piercer that was in that night wouldn't do it . So I asked my friend if she knew that name of the guy who pierced her nipple and she told me his name was Shawn so I phoned them and asked when he worked next . Friday . Perfect .
So after school on friday I got a ride once again with my boyfriend downtown to Bushido . I got there and asked if I could get it pierced . The girl at the desk said I could talk to the piercer about it and he would decide . He came over to me and told me there was a few people ahead of me so he'd be a couple minutes and I told him that was fine . Then the receptionist came and checked my ID . At this point I got kind of nervous because I knew this was going to happen for sure .
So less than five minutes later Shawn came and got me and brought me and my friend Brittany into the small room and told me to sit on the bench . He asked what I wanted to get pierced and I told him my nipple . He agreed to do it and got me to fill out a form and then left the room so I could undress . He came back in the room and asked which one I wanted pierced. I told him that I wanted my left one . He told me that it would be better to pierce the right one because it is slightly bigger than the left one and it would probably heal better and quicker if I went with my right one . I was pretty set on my left one but he knows better than I do so i told him to go ahead and pierce my right one . Then he cleaned my nipple and told me to stand up in front of him and he marked it . Then I laid back down on the bench and grabbed Brittany's hand . He told me he was going to do it freehand meaning he won't use a clamp which he said would make it less painful . Then he also told me it probably would hurt less then my rook which was really reassuring because my rook didn't hurt at all . So he pulled my nipple up a bit and told me to take a deep breath and then breathe it out . When I breathed out he pushed the needle through and I looked up at my nipple and saw a big needle sticking through it which I thought was pretty sweet because I hardly felt it . Then I watched him put the 14 gauge captive bead ring in and it was over . I got up and looked in the mirror and fell in love all over again . I thanked and tipped Shawn and told him how much I loved it and he agreed that it looked great and thanked me back . I put my shirt back on and went to pay . I can honestly say that the worst part of the whole experience was sitting in front of someone I don't know topless (which wasn't that bad because Shawn made me feel super comfortable).On the way home I couldn't even tell it was there ! It was definatly the least painful piercing out of my double navel , trag us , rook , and nose . And my favorite too ! All my friends like it to o (not like I'd care if they didn't) and sensitivity is increased for sure . If anyone wants to get their nipple pierced and your a girl thats under eighteen (or even if your're not) go to Shawn at Bushido he made me feel so comfortable and did an amazing job on my piercing . I'm hoping to get the other one done when this one's healed . I'll keep you updated !
