When It just happened
Studio Tattoo City
Location Dandenong, Melbourne, Australia
Hi my name is Rhys and I am 15. I am a huge fan of BME. I discovered it a while ago when looking for tattoo pictures for my old man. I think it was love at first site. Not only does it have pictures and information on the actual piercings but also it has a lot of insight into the cultural side of it.

For a while I had been searching through the BME experiences and photos on nipple piercings. I had always thought of getting it done but never got around to it. So today I decided to do it. I got my mum to give me a lift to Tattoo City in Dandenong and went straight in. I was already starting to get a bit nervous. After a few seconds the piercer came out. He was very good. I told him I wanted my nipple pierced with the ball captive ring in it. He asked me nicely to take of my shirt and show him my nipple. I showed him and he then told me it was just to find out what sized ring would be right.

He showed me to the back room where the tattoos and piercing actually go on. He asked me nicely to sit straight on the piercing bench so he could mark out the places where the piercing would go through with a black marker. After this we spoke for a while on piercings etc, while he rubbed some antiseptic wipe stuff on my nipple, then he asked me to lay down flat on my back. I did so but couldn't help myself watching him set up. He took the needle out of a package and got out the clamp.

He again asked me to lay down flat on my back. I did so this time. He then explained to me that he was all set up and now he was going to clamp the nipple. By this time for some reason the nerves had gone and I was calm. He clamped the nipple. I thought this would hurt a lot, like some kind of a super nipple cripple but I didn't feel a thing at all.

After a minute or so he then told me he was about to pierce it. He told me the easiest way to do it is to take in a big huge breath so I did. And he pierced it. Didn't really hurt all too much. It did feel kind of tight but nothing too bad.

He then explained that he has to put the jewelery in now. He told me to take another deep breathe. I did so....Then it came... OUCH! This really fucking hurt. He then apologized and said he didn't get it. He told me just one more deep breath. I did so and this time it hurt even worse. I thought it would be all over by now but then he explained that it was a bit hard to take out for some reason.. I forgot what he told me but it wasn't some bullshit he fed me. He told me that this will defiantly be the last time. I took in the big breath once more and I felt the pain but I could feel him fiddling around for longer this time. I breathed out and he said "All over, Red rover!"...I was glad.

He then had to put in the ball and close the ring. Then done. I was glad to know the whole thing was over. I went over to a small mirror I saw trying to bend down to see my nipple in it. He told me there was a nice high one around the corner so I went and had a look. It looked great. Better than what I had expected. I gave the dude the $30 dollars and thanked him for it. He then told me about all the after care. He told me to soak it a few times a day and use special antiseptic shit. And try not to touch it with your fingers when it is healing. I then said thank you to him once more and left the studio.

It has been about one hour now and it is still hurting. Not much just a light throbbing feeling. I am so glad. I can't wait to show everyone. I am so pleased I can't wait to get my other nippie done.

Down trhe track a bit i hope to get my eyebrow and perhaps my lip on the side. But i guess i will just have to wait and see for that one.

A bit of advice to anyone wanting to get pierced...DO IT!

And another thing to remember especially when you are underage..don't go to dodgey studeos because they don't charge much or don't ask for id and things like that.
