I have wanted my nipples done for a little over 2 years. So yesterday I had a bad day and my friend called me and asked me to go get a bite to eat with her. I told her I was not hungry but I would go along. So she picks me up and we end up at the piercing place instead.

So I knew he was pretty cool and I trusted him. Anyways, I walk in and tell him what I wanted but that I was scared. He told me that he's done many of them and usually the girls take it a lot better than the guys do. He said the girls hardly move at all, while the guys about pee their pants. So he gave me a piece of paper to sign, as well as my friend because she decided to get her tongue done. I was shaking so much I could hardly sign my name! He made me go around the corner so I could flash him.. hehe and make sure the ring he had picked out would fit m nipples, and it did. I had to wait 20 minutes so he could sterilize everything but my friend was already ready to go. Being the chicken that I am I made her wait the 20 minutes with me because I insisted on going first. Before taking the stuff to sterilize he said to me ok here's your needle do you want to see it? I a ssured him I really did NOT want to see it and my friend looked at it instead.
So it was almost time and I asked him if I could get a soda (he keeps a fridge full downstairs for anyone who wants to buy it). He said yes and said he would go get one, then he said actually it's time anyways, you can just come down. So now I was really nervous and my friend asked if she could go down with me, I said not if she didn't mind seeing.
So we go downstairs and I have a seat in the dentist like chair. He starts telling me what is going to go on. He puts his gloves on and tells me to take off my shirt. I had a button up on so I asked if I could just unbutton it cause it was cold down there. He said that he needed my nipples to be hard anyways and I told him I didn't think it'd be a problem, seeing how they were hard before I even unbuttoned my shirt. So I just took my bra off and unbuttoned. He has me stand up after cleaning off my nipples (meanwhile my friend is standing 5 feet away looking like she's scared to come closer) and he looks at my nipples and marks them. Then has me look in the mirror to make sure it looks okay. It did so I sat back down. I told him he should have stirrups on the chair so no one kicks him.. hint hint. He said no that no one would ever kick him. I was trying not to shake so badly but I was terrified! He got the clamp and told me to tell him if it was too tight. He clamped my nip ple, which was not bad at first then he squeezed it a little tighter and it was a little uncomfortable but didn't really hurt. Told me to breathe in, and I did.. then breathe out, and the needle was through. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be after reading all the stories on here. I was expecting some really bad pain, which I guess is good. I looked down and saw the needle sticking out of my nipple. He fed the ring through, which didn't hurt at all and then clamped my right nipple. No I was scared because the second hurts more than the first one. He again told me to breathe in, then out and again the needle went thru very quickly. I guess the second is more painful to most people because they know what to expect. But it really wasn't bad at all. Again he fed the ring through. Then he used some tool to straighten the ring up (because its twisted a little when they put it in) then used another tool to close it a little more. He asked me if he had caused me any discomf ort yet, and I said not really. So he said that's no good he has to do it before I leave. Then he went to put the ball in. This part was a little uncomfortable because it felt like he was pulling on my nipple a little. So I told him he caused me some discomfort and could stop now! So the balls were in and he told me to stand up and he started looking at them at like eye level. I told him if they weren't even that it's too late now but he said he wasn't checking that. Then he took a picture, of just my boobs for his photo book that he has upstairs with piercings in for customers to look at. (Of course he asked first) So I went over and attempted to put my bra back on, he and my friend offered to help but I managed. I did my shirt up and went back to the chair for my friend to have her turn. My nipples started hurting pretty bad. However the bra I had on really didn't give me any support. So I went and got a new sports bra and it's so much better! It's only been a day. I am very tender, and I sleep with my sports bra on. They look great, and s o far so good. I hope they heal well and the tenderness goes away soon.
All in all it was not that bad for me. I think everyone is different and the only way to find out what it's like for you, is to have it done. It might hurt for you, but remember the piercing part only lasts a couple of seconds! :)
