Well I had my nipples pierced about a year ago at another studio where there were 2 piercers and one pierced too deep and ended up putting me in alot of pain and the other was perfect but the drainage was bad and eventually became infected. I waited about 10 months and finally decided to go get both nipples done again. I was only going to get one but I figured why I was there I better get both done because I probably would never get the courage to go back.

For anyone thinking about getting your nipples done do it, it really doesn't hurt only stings for a second and then they are sore for a day or two. Also I recommend getting them both done. I wouldn't like just having the one.

My friend wanted to get her nipple done also and she already had her tongue and wanted to go to Eternal in Livonia because they have a great reputation and that is where she had her tongue done about 4 years ago. We walked in and talked to Vanessa the piercer and she explained everything.

When I had them pierced before I had to get hoops but she was able to do it with barbells which is what I originally wanted. I had the choice of hoops and also the horse shoe style hoop. I just wanted the flat bar due to my job. I have to wear dress shirts and wanted something that isn't as noticeable. She told me it may hurt a little more because I had them done before. She put the forceps on I got nervous because I remember how much it hurt last time and it wasn't bad at all. She told me to take a deep breath and exhale and before I was done exhaling she was done. Only one more to go. Last time I had them done at the same time, this time one at a time. She did the second one and told me to take a deep breath. I did and after I exhaled she wasn't done I got nervouse for that split second. She appologized and finished. I had some scare tissue so it didn't go as fast as the other but she did get it in and have had no problems since.

She was very good and explained everything. The other place I had it done told me to put Neosporin on them. Big mistake because that tried to close up the hole and caused alot more fluid to come out. They also told me to put band aids on them to keep the hoops down and one day when I pulled one off it pulled off some skin also. OUCH. I can't remember the name of the studio but its in Southgate Michigan and on Fort Street so beware if you go in there. She put in curved barbells and I love the way they look. My fiance loves them alot and was the one that convinced me to get them done again. I do think I will get them stretched to maybe a 12ga or eventually a 10ga.

Vanessa told me to use the Satin soap they sell and it has worked very well. Its like hospital soap. First time I had it done I had alot of problems sleeping and getting comfortable. The other place was about $25 cheaper, but not worth it. My friend had her one nipple done before but she was in alot of pain for a few months and it just didn't heal right so she was taking a chance having it done again. The last place she had it done told her the same things I was told and she had some of the same problems I did. I know she has had no problems and is wanting to go back and get the other one done now.

I've had no pain, no blood, and very little drainage. The way they told me to care for them was completely different then the first place. If you want to get them done I highly suggest it and if your in Michigan go to Eternal tattoo and piercing, they know what they are doing. I will never go to another studio for anything. I want to get more piercing but due to my job I can't have anything that shows so it has to be something hidden.

While waiting for my friend I was talking to the girl who is learning to pierce and she was very friendly and explained and answered all my questions. The last place acted like I was bothering them to ask questions. I can't stress enough if you are thinking about it just go get it done. You won't regret it I promise.
