I had just recently turned 18, and wanted another mod. I was unsure yet what I wanted, I have already one tattoo and my tongue pierced. So I went through the LONG list of all the piercings I wanted. The nipple piercing seemed to be highest on the list, so I went to BME and looked at the pictures, and the experiences. The weekend of December 20th I called All Body Piercing and Accessories and asked the price, and various questions. I was nervous, and told her on the phone I was, and she said "It's ok to be nervous, it's not normal getting a needle put through your boobie". That pretty much made me laugh, so I was already comfortable with her, because of that. I had asked many people that went to Chaz (the piercer there) and they had told me she was great, very clean, and professional, and not to mention cool. So, I had my money, enough for the tip(total 45 dollars), and those pesky butterflies in your stomach. And decided to go at 3:30 on Dec. 22.

She had me fill out the papers, and I had to show ID. She put a note on the door to have people wait, and closed it. I was getting a captive bead ring as my jewelry, and she asked my favorite color, which is purple. She pulled out a beautiful light purple cats eye bead, for the jewelry. The CBR was a 1." Then comes the piercing...EEP. At this point, my voice was incredibly shaky, thinking that I'm crazy! Well, She had me take my shirt and bra off, and while I was standing, she marked the entrance and exit point on my left nipple (one of choice), and then she told me to sit down. Chaz told me she was going to clamp it, which she said will be uncomfortable. It wasn't, but only slightly. Then I was tempted to watch, but as soon as the needle came close, I turned my head. All of a sudden I felt a burning in my nipple. The needle was all the way through! Then she put my ring in, and told me th e jewelry was in. She then cleaned it again, and said I can put my shirt back on (I skipped the bra, I didn't want to even go through the hassle though on the ride home wish I decided to wear it.). So she went over the after care with me, and I asked some more questions, and she was so helpful, much better than my previous piercer. Then she told me that It can be "played" with, I'll probably love it. Then I left. On the way home I was grinning ear from ear. I was so excited I had my first mod being 18, and having it be my nipple. I got home, went into the bathroom, and just kept staring at it, thinking how sexy it looked. I tried on my bra, but I had perfume on it, and that stung like hell! So I had to wash it(being the only sports bra, or cotton bra I had), and I found out I could not use downy...(sad face).
I didn't tell my Mom about it until the day after, and she still pokes fun at me about it. I've had it for almost 2 months now, and the healing part, even though I still have a while till it is fully healed, is going great. I was able to sleep on my stomach, actually, I didn't mean to, it jsut happened(haha). I have to say, I had little pain after the second night of it. I wash it with Dial now, and use sea salt soaks every other day. It has gotten dried out a little with using the soap, so I have just been using water, and salt soaks. Now that most of the pain is completely gone, the feeling is wonderful. The first time it had been touched (in a sexual way) I was shocked. I didn't think it would be that pleasurable.
I found it for a while after the piercing, for it to be more comfortable for me to NOT wear a bra. But now,it is better for me to wear one, becuase the ring gets caught easily, if I bump into anything. I would like to change the jewelry sometime. I admit, I tried, but that was stupid, it was not sized for me properly. So I ended up not taking the ring out. The jewelry I have now, is ok, I just would like it to be smaller(smile).
If there is anyone that wants their nipple pierced, I would have to tell you to go for it. It's a beautiful piercing, on a man or woman.
