I had been thinking about getting my nipples done for some time. Then one day I woke up and decided to go for it. I called for the price because a friend of mine said that the people at this shop were real cool so I decided to get it done there.I went to the shop at opening time and the piercer was an hour late.

When I came back to check if she had come in she was finally there. I was so nervous and I started to feel sick. I always get like that when I go to get a new piercing. So I went in and we talked for a few minutes before she started to get things ready.
She had me sit in one of those dentist chairs. She was putting the needle and clamps on the little dentist tray. That is when my nervousness started to kick in worse. I had to slow down and control my breathing because I started to get light headed. She looked a little worried and told me it would be okay. I laughed and asked her if she had ever had her nipples done. Of course, she did not have them done.
I wanted to get horizontal barbells. She said if it was any other piercer they would not do it with barbells. Only because it is easier to clean with rings. I was stubborn though and decided to get the barbells because I personally do not like the look of rings on me.
She then took some barbells out to get the right fit for my nipples. It took a while to get the marks straight. I have large nipples so they looked lopsided on my part. Finally, the marks looked straight. The phone also kept ringing so she was answering that. Of course the one day I go there it was ringing off the hook. They need to get a secretary. Which, made me even more nervous because it felt like I had been sitting there for a long time. I just wanted to hurry up and get it over with.
Finally, she was ready to do it. I laid down in the chair and she started to put the clamp on. I could feel my heart racing. She then asked if I was ready. I said yes though my mind was screaming no.I saw her position the needle and I had to look away. I took a deep breath in then I let out a deep slow breath when I felt the needle go through. I blurted out a curse word and kicked the chair. My legs tensed up pretty bad. It hurt pretty bad. Then, in went the barbell which was pretty uncomfortable. I looked down and thought it looked really cute. Then, the burning sensation started.
She then went to the other side and asked if I was ready for the other one. I told her "Ha, ha, I forgot to make sure you weren't going to ask me that." So she put the clamp on and we started the whole process again. Then she put the needle through my left nipple. The second one hurt worse, probably because I knew what to expect. I yelled a little louder this time. But it was worth it after the pain. Once the second barbell went through it was finally over. I was so happy that I had gone through with it.
I had to stay for a few minutes so she knew I wasn't going to faint. She came outside with me and we smoked a cigarette together. There was a strong burning sensation throughout my nipples. I read around before I went so I already had a comfy sports bra on. The pressure really helps with the pain.
The one thing I would hope people would believe me about is that you need to make sure you know the piercer. Go out and meet them and ask how much experience they have. My nipples are messed up now. They don't look bad to someone who doesn't pierce though. She pierced them wrong and a little in the areola. So my new piercer that I trust is trying to help me make this year long healing into a more comfortable experience. To anyone that is letting someone put a needle through a part of you that is dear take the time to get to know them because my other new piercings are doing great because I found someone to do them properly. Make sure you go for quality not just the lowest price. If the prices are low and the piercers are great that is even better. Also, if you do want to get your nipples done go for it because it is worth it. Trust me.
