Getting my nipples pierced wasn't anything I was serious about until I found myself topless in a piercer's chair. But let me not get ahead of myself. I am 18, and some friends of mine and I decided that it would be a trip if we all got something done at this parlor in Canada.

So we hopped in the small car she has (with no working heater mind you) and drove across the border to the Canadian side of the Falls.
When we got to Head's about and hour later, we started to scope out the different tattoos on the walls, and I thought about what I wanted to get done. This wasn't my first piercing; I've got a tongue ring, tongue web ring, industrial, and other gauged ear jazz going on. I usually do my own piercings (outside of the industrial and the tongue ring) but I guessed that actually letting someone else pierce me would be fun.
So I turned to Carin, and joked about getting my nips pierced. The pierced over heard me, and was like "I think you should!" I figured it was just because he could see my boobs, but I was like "ok, why the hell not?" I thought about it for a little bit, and then decided that vertical barbells would be awesome.
He told me his name was Ken, and I found out that he was only 19. It was nice to have a rather attractive dude impale me, rather then some old women who wanted to show me her 10-year-old nipple rings. I asked the common question "how much is this going to hurt?" and He told me that when he had his done that it hurt a lot, but it always hurts more for a guy to get theirs' done. This made sense because I already knew guys have more sensitive nips.
So off went my tank-top and bra, I was unsure if I'd feel weird sitting half naked for some stranger, but the nervousness of being stabbed over ran that conclusion. Funny how it took him not one, not two, but several attempts to mark where the piercings were going to be. "Ok, you want'em vertical right?" I told him yeah, and he explained that they would heal nicer with hoops, so I went with that, and said I'd buy barbells later.
The clamps have to be the worst part of any piercing. Ken agreed and told me to take in a deep breath. I looked down, and saw him line up the needle, and then I breathed in and watched the needle slide right through my beloved right nip. To my surprise it didn't hurt that much at all. In fact I think getting my industrial hurt ten times more. When he put the hoop in, I couldn't even feel it go through. The only down fall, was when he had to clamp the ball into the hoop. Just the process of him pulling my nipple made it start to sting. Ken kept asking me if I was ok, and I was like "yeah, yeah, lets do the other one quick!"
Same feeling about the clamp and the piercing hurt just a tad more, but having two piercing done in one day, most cases would agreed that the second one always seems to hurt just little more then the first. They bled a bit, but nothing to tweak out about or anything. Having them done kinda stings but not in a bad way. It's almost the feeling you'd get if someone was nibbling on your nipples for a while--if you can relate to that. haha. He asked me what I used on my other piercings to clean them, and I told him Bactine. He said that dial soap would be best for these babies, and that I should not touch them unless my hands are nice and clean. Also that ice feels good for the first few hours after getting them, and that I should reframe from wearing tight clothing. Like a sports bra, but a regular bra usually helps lessen the pain of having the rings move against clothing. I guess its because of the under-wire in the bra. I asked when I could switch to barbells, and was told 6 to 8 weeks.
I checked out a mirror and I liked was I saw. Tell ya what though; you just don't want to wear a shirt after getting nipples done. So Ken let my sit in his booth for a while my other friends got their stuff done. When we finally drove home, the cold air felt good, and I just lied on my bed and put ice on them puppies for a few minutes. They bled a little again last night, and I hope they don't again tonight, but I don't think they will.I took a hot shower and that helped loosen the rings, so I could freely turn them and put ointment on them. OH! And the thing about the under-wire in the bra for lessening the pain, works. it really does keep them from moving to much, and they haven't bled all day. I'd have to say, with only having them for two days now, they feel fine and I would tell anyone who asks me, that they are worth getting done.
