Hello. One day I decided to get my nipple pierced. I get random thoughts that come from nowhere. I looked at experience pages on this site and started to get nervous. Everybody commented on how painful it was. I started to question if I was going to get this done. It is only a little pain I told myself, you only live once. So I asked my friend Sam where she got her tongue pierced. She said Texas Tattoo. I visited their web site and decided it looked all right. The Houston Post rated them as the number one place back in 1999. This place can not be too bad I thought. Sam said she would come with. Cool, because I was going to go by myself, but she said you can not go by yourself.

I went to work and asked a few people about getting nipples pierced. Two of them said it is the most painful piercing, or say they have "heard". Another said he had his pierced at one point and it did not hurt. Two against one I thought. The majority has spoken. It will hurt like no pain I have felt. This is going to suck. Some people asked why are you going to do it if it is going to hurt. I thought about this and just shrugged my shoulders.
So I got off of work and went home. I had to wait till Sam was done with dinner. So I waited and looked at piercing sites. She called and I was off to her house. A friend was with her. Joy, another person watching me have a needle shoot through my nipple. It could have been worse however, her name was Dana and I sat with Sam and her my senior year at lunch. I was not too nervous. So we speed off to Westheimer.
Downtown Houston is cool at night. The lights were awesome and the schizos. walking around aimlessly at night are entertaining. We got off the freeway and headed towards where it was. Then it struck me, crap, I forgot the way. Sam said it was straight, but I did now want to wander the like schizos. So we zoomed towards my friend's house. He was not there, he was at the House of Pies. So I asked his dad to point me in the direction and we were off once again. Sam was correct as always and it was straight. We arrived at the parlor. Sam took a picture of me in font of the place. We went in and looked around. We talked to the guy who was going to do it. I went for my id , but I did not have it. Crap, so we had to take another one hour trip to my house and back. I felt bad because Sam and Dana had to sit in a car for another hour. That must have been boring. So we arrived once again. We walked to the room where the piercer, Zac, was going to pierce me. It was very bright and sterile. This is good, because I am germophobic. I took my shirt off and Sam saw my scrawney body. She told me I need to eat more. The guy had me stand up and he measured my nipple with some strange device. He marked it with some purple stuff he put on a tooth pick. Sam took another picture in the middle of this. He then then made me sit down on this dentist looking chair. It was cold. It reclined backwards and the reality finally set in. There was a wonderful "trippy" picture on the ceiling.
He then next put the clamp on. This was rather uncomfortable. The piercer told me to breathe and I did. I remember this was important, because when you are tense, you do not breathe. This was evident when I got my tattoo done. I forgot to breathe for a while and got kind of light headed. Sam offered to hold my hand, it was tempting to hold her hand but that is another story. I now feel some movement around the clamp and then bam! A pain was felt coming from my nipple, but it literally lasted for only a second. It did not hurt that much to my surprise. Only for a second. Whoever thinks this is the most painful experience needs help. Sam now took another picture. The piercer now cleaned it and cleaned. It only bleed a little. The pain subsided as time passed. Wow, I got my nipples pierced. It was better than I thought. The company who was with me helped.
I then payed the man his money and gave him a ten dollar tip because he was cool and he did fast and painless. Sam, Dana , and I headed out into the thirty degree weather which was an experience in itself. This was good experience and I thank Sam for wanting to come.
