I couldn't believe I was actually going to get my nipples pierced. About a month earlier, I had gone with one of my friends and she screamed so loud and squeezed my hand so tight I thought she was going to break my fingers!! Still, I knew this is what I wanted. I love the way they look and nothing was going to stop me from getting them done. So there I was, driving up to New Hampshire more excited than I've ever been before.
At A Glance Author anonymous Contact anonymous@bme.anon When A year ago Artist some dude Studio Tattoo Fever Location Pelham, NH I walked in and told the lady behind the counter what I wanted. She told me the guy who was going to pierce me was just finishing up a tattoo and then he'd be right with me. So me and my friend browsed around the shop looking at different body jewelry and tattoos. At that point I wasn't too nervous. I have plenty of other body piercings and I have also been to this place numerous times before so I knew I could trust them.
They called me over and I picked out 14g hoops. My friend came with me as we went into the back room. Now this is when I started to get nervous! All I could picture was the look of horrible pain that my other friend had on her face when she was getting her nipple's pierced. I breathed in and out a few times and kept thinking that it'll only hurt for a second. The piercer had me lift my shirt up and he cleaned off my nipples. He marked them and asked me if I liked the placement. I did, so he proceeded. He put the clamp on my right nipple first. There was some pressure, but it wasn't that bad. He said that the pressure of the clamps actually help lessen the pain. He asked me if I was ready and told me to take a deep breath and let out after the needle went through. I was so nervous I was almost shaking. But I knew I was ready. I took my friend's hand and she gave me a quick smile. I told him I was all set and to go ahead. So he stuck the needle thru, there was a little pinch, and it was done! My right nipple was pierced! It didn't even hurt that much. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited and relieved at the same time. One down, one to go. I was more relaxed now. So then he did the same thing to my left nipple. Now this time, it hurt a little bit more, I will admit that. But it was still very tolerable. He held a mirror up and asked me what I thought of them. Immediately, I told him that it was just what I wanted and they looked great! I tried convincing my friend to get hers done too, but she said she liked her nipples plain..oh well. He told me how to take care of them and I was on my way.
Now I thought it would hurt to have my bra on, so I left it off. But after about 15 minutes or so they felt a little sore so I put my bra on to see if that would feel any better. The little bit of pressure actually took the soreness away and made them feel a little better. I got home that night and took a shower. It was a little difficult turning them, but wasn't much pain. The old part that hurts is when you turn them and you have those little crusty things!! Ouch! So remember to get rid of that stuff before you turn them. Other than that, everything is great! I showed some friends and some of them think I was crazy for going thru with it. But 3 or 4 of them wanted me to go with them so they could their nipples pierced too. I've gotten nothing but good responses to them. My boyfriend loves them too! I'm trying to convince him to get pierced, but I don't know if it'll ever happen.
It's been a little over a year now and I still love them! Every now and then there's still some of those annoying crusty things, but I can deal. My right one got a little infected when I got it got on my shirt one day. But its healing up nicely now and should be back to normal in no time. I'm actually thinking about getting them pierced a second time vertically! But we'll have to see about that. I recommend for anyone to get them done. They are my favorite piercings on my body. And if you happen to be in the New Hampshire area, Tattoo Fever is a really great place that I know will do an excellent job.
