Hello all,

After much reading on the BME site I went to one of my favorite female piercers (Erin at Big Time tattoos and body piercing)to get my new piercing done, as soon as I walked in she said are you getting them done today. I only nodded because I still terribly terrified about what I was about to do, but I really really wanted to get this piercing done. I brought my husband with me for this one, I figured on needing a hand to squeeze, I only hoped I didn't break it in the process (hehe). I told her (Erin) that yes I was here for my nipple piercing. I was so terrified to get this one done, I kept asking her how bad will this hurt (haha). The only response I ever got was it will be nothing that you cant handle. HA HA how would she know, I almost backed out like a ton of times. My hands were shaking so bad I had to fill the paper work out twice, just to get it readable, for the records. She copied my ID and had me pay for the piercing, there was no backing out now. I was in for the long haul.

Then I started pacing the floor while she prepped the stuff in the back. When she was ready, she came out front and said I am ready when you are. I wasn't ready but I shook my head yes anyway because I knew I would never relax totally till I got it done.

We went in the back and she explained the procedure, showed me the jewelry she planned to use and asked again if I was ready. I nodded again and removed my shirt and sports bra (which I would recommend wearing if you are getting this piercing done). She then asked me to stand up with my arms at my sides and to stand still. She marked the spots and asked if they were OK, I asked my husband because I was to scared to look (hehe). He said the marks were OK and we were ready to proceed.

I lay down on the table and started to squeeze my husband's hand right away. Then the time came, she put the clamps on the left side first. She then told me to breath as she counted to three, on three she would do the piercing. So I started breathing and she started counting ONE, TWO, and on three in went the needle ouch ouch ouch!!! YES it hurt you are piercing a very sensitive area of the body you know, but the pain was bearable just the same.

With the first one done I started to worry, I have read stories that the second one hurts worse then the first. So I asked her is this true, NO response just a question of are you ready in return. I say no and ask for the second part of my money back, I have all intentions of leaving right then. She smiled and finished adjusting the first jewelry, checking her work and wiping it up a little. By the way the jewelry going in hurt almost as bad as the actual piercing.

Then as if she didn't hear my request to leave she clamps the other side I start a huge protest right then and there. She smiles again and tells me that it just wouldn't be right to only have one done (this was said to put me at ease because she knew I really wanted both done) and when that didn't work she said I couldn't get any of my money back (just a ploy to keep me and this did work.......she is so great). At that I decided to stay and just get it done, I mean the first one wasn't so horrible and I did really want the second one done. I give her the ok to continue with the second one.

She repeats the procedure; she counts to three and then pushes the needle through. YES the second side hurt worse then the first, why I have no idea but it does (or did for me anyway). She put the jewelry in the second side, which made it hurt worse. Then she cleaned up the area and let me have my first look at them. WOOHOO I love them they are perfect and look really good.

As I start to dress she goes over the after care with me and asks if I have any questions. I have but one what is the healing time or how long before I can play with them. I was told that normal healing time is 9 months (I think), the aftercare consisted of the normal stuff. Don't play with the piercing while it is healing, do sea salt rinses, and keep them clean overall. She also told me if I have any questions not to hesitate to call her and ask. Anyway I thanked Erin for the wonderful piercing and apologized for getting crazy on her. I tipped her (more then usual, for putting up with me) and left.

With this piercing I had no bleeding whatsoever, I did take some bra pads from Erin before I left just in case but they weren't necessary. I waited a couple weeks and then took them for a test drive. They were sore but the pleasure was still very much known even then. . If you are considering this piercing I would recommend lots of research and a piercing buddy for moral support. This piercing is very much worth the pain that is involved. Just rubbing up against them sends chills down my spine, my nipples get so much harder and they are so sensitive.........it is truly a great piercing.
