Well, Being that my job is narrow minded most all of my piercings are hidden, I had to opt for a piercing that was well concealed and to my liking, thus I decided on the nipples. I know, I know, Horrible!

Anyway One day after much debate, I decided I wanted my nipples pierced, I was only 17 at the time but i wanted them done because..like most people, I just wanted the experience and the thrill. My girl said it hurt really bad but I didn't care I was wanting them done, I liked the look.
It was around night time and we head into the shop and look around. The shop is very clean and nice, collages all over the walls, as well as nice flash art and various procedure photos as well. We check out some of the pictures of the piercings Kenny (my artist/cousin) had done. VERY good stuff. I keep thinking over and over "should i, or shouldn't i?" Finally I muster up the courage and, fill out papers and all that good stuff, My cousin owns the shop so he pierces me underage - but only because i had parental consent:) (That's a big deal down in the Carolina's).
Kenny tells me he will have the room ready in a moment he has to get his needles and stuff set up for me. My girl tells me it will be okay, since I am such a wimp. After about 5 minutes, Kenny motions us to come forward. We head to the back room of the shop,where he has a fresh needle, two cork screws, some thing to hold the nipple and a marking pen. he asks me to stand up cleans off the areas to be pierced, and observes my nipples then carefully marks a dot on each side of them both. Then I lay on a large table like couch, and my girl holds onto my hand for support. Kenny puts the holders onto my right nipple then, it squeezes and he tells me "this is going to be a quick stab and it's over". Soon after those words, the needle is carefully inserted, and man that was a pain i tell you, my nerves shot up and my eyes actually watered. hah. I found myself squeezing my own arm, and biting my tongue ring.
After that he inserted the jewelry, 14 g. cbr. and it hurt as well, the air hurt it too, I mean it was so sensitive. I was almost not wanting the left one to be done, but i was like "i better do it now before I chicken out next time". So Kenny did the other one as well. The right one bled and the left one did nothing.
The first few days I noticed a bit of leakage, my piercer told me it was normal and part of the healing process. I felt that my nipples were extremely tender and it was even painful to have my shirt rub against them. However, I had faith that these babies would develop just fine. After all, Kenny told me they would be fun to play with once they healed, and I wanted to believe that so much.
For about 3 weeks the pain was a bit hard to deal with but I was careful to make sure my new piercings stayed clean, and all. Provon medical lotion soap in the shower, rotating the rings in and out and then drying them off completely. I don't know if this is recomended, but I had a bottle of pleasurable piercing stuff and I added that onto the rings with a q tip, which i felt would keep them extra sanitized.
After about a month they healed up completely, the only problems I've ever had with them would be when I went into the pool while they were healing. I noticed afterwards i'd develop a bit of crusty dried up stuff on the rings which i'd clean off every so often.
It's a year later, and regretfully I lost my right nipple ring when it got caught on the fence and ripped out. That was probably more painful than my prince albert piercing. Having my nipple ring ripped completely out felt like it was on fire..it bled and bled and finally it stopped but I tell you it wasn't something i'd want to experience again. I wanted to go back and get it re-done, after it healed up... but with the scar tissue I am a bit hesitant. Kenny said that I pretty much ruined the nipple and piercing it again wouldn't be something recomended. Then I started to think the other one was migrating, but it was just my mind playing tricks on me. My girlfriend likes to laugh about it, It was surely a painful piercing, but a pleasurable one at that:)
