About a year ago I started considering body modification, piercing to be exact. The piercings that I was considering were the nipples, tongue and prince albert. The couple of friends that I had talked to about my feelings thought that I was crazy about thinking that. Some people I had encountered kept telling me about how the nipple piercing heightens the sensitivity of the nipples. Well, this really got me thinking, you see I absolutely love my nipples being played with. Plus I wanted a piercing that could be hidden and the only people that would now about it would be anyone that I show it to. I ruled out the tongue piercing because it seemed to me like everyone has a tongue piercing, and I wanted something different. My girlfriend at the time was neutral on the subject, but said that if I wanted to get my nipples pierced than go do it.

I wanted to find out the usual how is it done, how much pain is involved, how long to heal, what it will be like after it is healed, and what kind of jewelry is typically used. Of course, I stumbled on to this wonderful site, which I fell in love with and got most of my information off of.
I finally decided to get my nipples done. I have been to a couple of the studios around here while going with girlfriends to get their tongues or navels pierced, I must be the designated hand holder. But, I had seen a couple of the shops and new that Threshhold was by far the most sterile shop around. When I decided to get it done, I immediately left for the studio. On the way, I had decided to only get one nipple done today. I wanted to see how it was done, how it healed and what kind of benefits I would have from it after it was healed. I wanted to get the right one done today.
When I got to the studio I asked the piercer all the standard questions, and I was very satisfied so I decided to go ahead with the piercing. I was wanting the initial piercing to be done with a regular barbell, but they were out of barbells that would be long enough for the size of my nipples and yet not be outrageously too long. So, I settled for the standard 14g CBR. After this everything was very standard as in all the other stories: paperwork, cleansing, alignment, clamp, needle and jewelry. I do have to reiterate what everyone has said, the pain was mediocre and only lasted about a tenth of a second. I did bleed a little but he put a gauze over it and told me to take it off later in the day when I did the first cleaning.
The first cleaning of my nipple piercing was incredibly weird. What made it weird was watching this piece of metal slide back and forth through my nipple, mind you that this was my very first piercing ever. But, other than that the first cleaning was very simple. I was sore for about a month, with the soreness decreasing by the day. About two months after I stretched it to a 12g CBB (Circular BarBell), which I am absolutely in love with the way it looks and feels. I think that part of my problem was that I wasn't used to having a piercing.
After I had this piercing for about four months and experienced the many pleasures of having my nipple pierced, I felt that I needed the other nipple pierced. Back to Threshhold I went.
This next piercing was incredibly easy. There was no pain, no bleeding, and very minimal soreness for about five days afterward. This piercing I had it done with a 12g CBB. I didn't want a 14g on one side and a 12g on the other side. But it was no problem having it done initialy with a 12g. It has been about two months since the second nipple piercing and I am truly enjoying it to the max. It is a pleasure that I could not imagine living without. I once told a friend that if he could experience what it was like to have his nipples pierced, he get it done immediately. A couple of my male and female friends have now had their's done and completely agree with me on the pleasure aspect. And my current girlfriend is now considering having it done.
My suggestion, is that if you are reading this then you need to get to the best piercer around you and get your nipples pierced. I figure that if it will do what my nipple piercings have done, or at least come close, than it would be a must have piercing. And the ladies would get enjoyment out of it too!
