I had one one free piercing at a science fiction convention auction. Since I had the jewelry already, the piercer was willing to do both nipples for next to nothing. Of course, the night before the piercing I couldn't find the 10Ga rings I had bought specifically for the piercing and I searched everywhere. I finally had to give up and go without. I knew it would cost me around $50 as that was her standard rate for nipple piercing and so I made sure to bring money.

It was simple but clean. She had old toys everywhere and the music was a classic rock station. It was not what you'd expect from a piercing studio. She had me fill out the regular paperwork and we talked about the piercing. I had had my nipples pierced before but had surgery shortly afterwards and so they ended up migrating out as a result of being taken out so close to the piercing. Even though I had put them back in as soon as I could. Plus, my Domme would use my piercing as anchor points for my cuffs before they were fully healed. I told her this time she was NOT to touch them until they were fully healed. She grudgingly agreed. I had been looking forward to getting them repierced for a while now as I love nipple play.
Since I didn't have the jewelry and I really wanted to go with 10Ga we checked her stock. Unfortunately she didn't have any that were big enough for my nipples. Surprisingly enough I have large nipples for a guy. We found a set of 12Ga that would work though. She said that she would even swap them out for 10Ga in 6 months for free if I didn't find my other pair.
She was very helpful and informative. We talked about my previous experience and how I had run into a bit of trouble with my right nipple. She made a mental note and she asked about my health in general and if I'd eaten recently. She was definitely a very qualified piercer and I made a mental note to send others her way in the future.
She had me sit in the chair and she marked where the rings would go. We debated a little over exact positioning but finally settled on a position that would work. She commented that it's funny how some people's nipples twist when they get aroused. She related how one guy she had pierced, his rings actually went vertical when they were aroused. Mine don't twist too much so it wouldn't be a problem for me.
She decided to do the right one first as that had been the troublemaker before. She got her equipment out and again I was encouraged by her caution and sterile equipment. She also got a soda ready for me should I go into shock. She cleaned the skin around the nipple with betadine and then alcohol. She then had me take a couple of deep breaths and then she took the needle and went straight through the right nipple. It hurt like hell for about a second and then it went through. She then worked the ring in and capped it with the alien head beads I had picked(I didn't want just the standard little captive balls). She waited a couple of minutes to make sure I was ok.
Just as she was about to do the next one I began getting a little lightheaded and so she helped me to relax and recover. She was very good and I was fine within a couple of minutes thanks to her skill. She then did the left nipple with no problem. I barely felt it go through.
She had me wait a bit to make sure I was ok before letting me go. She gave me express instructions on how to care for the rings. One thing she told me that contradicted what I had been told before was that I should NOT use alcohol or peroxide to clean the rings at any point. She commented that all it does is dry the skin out and actually harms the piercing. I hadn't thought of it, but she was indeed correct. She also commented that I didn't need any special soap or anything to clean the piercing with. She said any anti-bacterial would work. She also told me that I shouldn't use salt water unless I was having a lot of problems with bleeding after a couple of weeks. Previously I had been told to use Salt water religiously from week 2 to 3 months. Her reasoning made sense and I'm glad I followed her instructions to this day.
I was so glad to have my nipple pierced again. I look forward to getting the 10Ga rings in as it will be stronger and better able to be played with. I am into a lot of nipple play in the BDSM community and I wanted something that would truly work for me. Perhaps someday I will get my scrotum pierced for play there, but that's in the future.
