I have wanted to get my nipples done for about a year now, but I asked everyone I knew to not tell me anything bad about their experience. The first two people I went to were my best friend and her husband. He said it wasn't very painful at all, she said it hurt like hell and it took a year to heal. So of course I flipped and decided against it.

Well about a month ago another friend of mine said she would really like to get it done. I said me too, but I was very nervous so I wasn't quite ready to make the decision. Then after about a hour long talk with her I gave the go ahead. We decided sometime around September. By this time my older sister had decided to join us and we said we would all do it together.
So tonight I surprised them both and said "Let's go and get them done right now". So all three of us walk in to the studio and luckily my friend had already had dealings with Chew the piercer. My friend went first and she didn't feel anything but a pinch. I held her hand and she didn't even squeeze. Then my turn. It was slightly like a pinch but very nice. It was over so quick I hadn't even realized that both were done and he was putting in the jewelery. Now my sister was up, her's did hurt more then the rest but she said it was less than 1/2 what she was expecting. very similar to her hood piercing, but less than her tattoo.
The first step consisted of Chew having us take off our shirts and bras. He then marked us to make sure they were even. When we were satisfied he had us sit on the table and take deep breaths. He then proceeded to clamp my nipple and explain that he was going to have me take two deep breaths and on the second one he would do the piercing. The initial feeling was like a sharp pinch, like getting a cartilage piercing, then it was suddenly over. He immediately went to clamp my other nipple and had me again take two deep breaths. The second one hurt a bit more than the first, even though I was expecting it to hurt less after the first. Only my second one bled and ached afterwards. Once he finished that he corked both needles.
I admit that I have DDs and the needle sitting in there while my breast hung was a strange feeling, it made me want to lift it up, but once that second needle went in I no longer felt it. He then inserted the jewelery and surprisingly that didn't hurt at all, unlike all my others. At that point I stood up and after a minute I felt perfectly OK. The whole process took about 10 minutes, including marking my nipples. It has now been about 3 hours and both feel great, with just a little residual aching in the second nipple. The first thing we did afterwards was go get a cup of coffee and some pie. I noticed that all three of us were very cautious with our seat belts and were taking posture to a new level. Very stiff and straight backed while eating pie is not the easiest thing to do. It's amazing how much more aware of them I am, usually they run into everything, being so big, but tonight I watched them like hawks. Everything we did we took much more seriously, as bumping them tends to cause them to start aching all over again. After 45 minutes or so we all began to relax and calm down. Our adrenaline was still pretty pumped up, and I don't think the coffee helped. Its a nice feeling to finally settle into them, and after the scary tales I was told, I didn't think that would happen so quick.
We all have very strict instructions now to clean them twice a day with anti-bacterial soap and Bactine, With any luck they could be healed in as little as 6 weeks. At that point they jewelery can be changed and I am already looking forward to going into a higher gauge, as all my piercings are at the smallest a 10 gauge. I think that 10s in the nipples could be quite nice! The 14s already feel very good even when just my shirt hits them. Another note is that girls usually take the pain better than guys, and more than one person told me this, more than one guy.
I would have to say to anyone who is getting this done to go for it, go ahead and get both done at once when your adrenaline is up and if at all possible have a friend with you, it eases the tension so much. I love them so much already and I know that the healing process is going to be very worth it. I promise to keep you updated on the process.
I now have four piercings and five tattoos and out of them all this has been the easiest thing I have done. I can already tel they are going to be my favorite. The best advice I can give you is not to listen to horror stories before you get it done. Be aware of things and get informed but don't psych yourself out so you won't at least try.
