Let me start off by telling you a little about myself. I am an eighteen-year-old girl who loves body modification. I have my nose, navel, and multiple ear piercings. I have wanted a new piercing for quite some time now and have given a lot of thought as to what I should get pierced. I did a lot of reading on B.M.E. and decided on my nipples.

My best friend is a tattoo artist at Lambadi City Tattoo and I know the piercer and am very comfortable with the shop. I know the place to be very clean and I would recommend anyone in the Cincinnati area to check it out if they want some work done.
I put off getting my nipples done for monetary reasons, but one night while I was at the shop watching my friend do a tattoo, I got the itch and knew I needed to get them done right then. So I talked to Casper and he said he would do it. He had me fill out my release form while he made a copy of my I. D. Then he had me pick out my jewelry. I chose two teal captive bead rings. We went into the piercing room and he had me give him a quick flash so he could get the right sized jewelry. He then put on a pair of gloves and got my jewelry out and set them on gauze on his tray. He then went through getting everything he needed and then he had me take off my shirt and bra while he changed gloves. He then had me stand up with my arms to my side and marked my nipples. He asked me to look in the mirror to make sure I liked the placement and that they were straight. They were so we proceeded. I sat down and he changed his gloves again and he cleaned my nipples.
Now comes the fun part. He said this is usually the worst part and proceeded to clamp my left nipple and he was right it hurt, but was bearable. It took a second for him to get the clamp in the right place and then he said "I want you to take a nice deep breath and exhale," and when I exhaled the needle was through. It took all of maybe two seconds. He then said I would feel some pressure and in inserted the jewelry. Next he went to the other nipple and put the clamp on and he told me the same as the last time take a nice deep breath and exhale, but this time I knew what coming so it was harder for me to do. I did, and when I exhaled the needle went through again. Now this one was more painful than the first. I'm not sure why, but it was bearable. Let me say though, for anyone considering getting this done, it only hurt for a second. Really, I felt it long enough to think ow, and then it was over.
I digress, He put the jewelry in that one and then proceeded to close them. I was feeling ok, considering I hadn't eaten all day. I know you should never get pierced on an empty stomach but I had no idea I would be getting it done and hadn't had a chance to eat. So I got up and he asked me how I liked then and I said they were great and he asked if he could take a picture and I said yes so I stood and he took the picture. He told me I could put my shirt and bra back on. He said that it is more comfortable with a bra on. He gave me two sterile gauze pads to place in my bra incase they bled any, which they didn't. I went out and gave the man my money and he told me how to take care of my new piercings and gave me my care sheet. I went back and told my friend and the other people at the shop, they were all very happy for me, but they are also men and any man is happy if you talk about your boobies. . . .
Anyway, I was feeling ok, there was no pain but I could defiantly tell there was something there. My friend and I left and I went and got something to eat. I felt better after that, but my left nipple throbbed a little bit, but I could hardly tell that the right one was there. I went home and before I went to bed I soaked off the little crusties with a wet q-tip, there weren't many and my left one started to bleed a little, just a drop so I stopped and went to bed.
It was hard to sleep the first night, every time I moved it hurt, but it was ok. The next day I cleaned them in the shower and they felt much better. The warm water really helped. I haven't had any problems with them yet, most of the time I don't even know they are there. They are a little tender after I clean them but that goes away after a few minutes. I love my new piercings even though I've only had them for three days. I can't wait until they are healed and I can enjoy them even more! I'm so glad I got them done and I think that anyone who wants them and has done the research and is prepared to be patient should get them done. Good Luck!
