Hey, I'm Tray and about 2 weeks ago, I decided 2 get my nipples pierced. It's kinda a strange story. In the beginning I had never really wanted my nipples pierced, never even considered it. A close friend had pierced hers almost 6 months ago, but after telling me about the piercing and seeing them still wasn't impressed or really moved to pierce my own. I just didn't "agree" with it.

Studio New Tribe Location Toronto, Ontario Anyway, I was at work one day when I started talking about piercings with a girl I work with, and the more I voiced my opinions about how they would look funny on me, I started to think about piercing them. I had been itching for a piercing for a LONG time, ever since my eyebrow rejected and I pierced my navel. (The eyebrow experience is in bme eyebrow section under "wicked wink" and Shannon taped me for the documentary when I had my navel done.) I decided it had been too long and wanted to pierce my laberet, but because of my job, I couldn't pierce anything facial. So I decided that night that I would pierce them.
The next week I called King of Fools in Toronto, because I remember having my navel done By Ryan for the Documentary and was impressed by his work. I called and was disappointed to find out they no longer do piercing. I was considering calling around to a couple of places when my friend called and after telling her what I was planning, she recommended New Tribe on Queen St. She said she had only heard good things about it. I trust her judgement so I figured why not? I found out New Tribe has a webpage from tattoos.com and after looking over the page, called the number and made an appointment for Sat. April 27th @ 3 PM. I checked out the experiences in the Bme to get an idea of what I was in store for and also talked to my friend to get an idea of how her piercing went and how they were doing 5 months down the road.
The week leading up to the piercing, I was running hot and clod about whether I wanted to do it or not. Finally when Saturday arrived, I decided I wanted the piercing and the hot and cold business was just nerves. Unfortunately, I live outside Toronto and had to take the bus and half way there it stalled and I had to wait for another to come along and pick me up to get me there. I ended up half an hour late for my appointment AND meeting my friend who was supposed to "distract" me while I had the piercing done. I finally got into New Tribe gave Joanna my name (I recognized her from Bme and the webpage) paid for the piercing and aftercare supplies (Tea tree oil soap and taro-Bactine ointment) and waited for them to be ready for me. I spent about 10 minutes running between osgoode station and the studio trying to locate my friend, but never did and when I called her house her mom said she left her cell phone home that day. I went back to new tribe and sat down on a leather cou ch near the window. I was sweaty, and out of breath, and the leather couch and stuffy heat of the studio didn't help, plus I wore a zippered sweater with a tank top underneath and that also made me hot, so when they called me, I was half undressed already.
R.J. introduced himself and showed me into the room he was going to pierce me in. I sat on the table while he explained everything and asked if I had any questions. I said no and he proceeded to put on his gloves while I started to lift my top..That's when he noticed the corner of the curtain covering the door was caught on the chair near it and kinda open! After he dropped it fully, I took off my top and stood in front of him. I thought I would have been awkward and uncomfortable about it, I probably stressed about that part more then anything in the week leading up to the piercing, but while he cleaned my nipples and started to mark them, I felt nothing and actually started to make small talk. After they were marked, R.J. asked me to take a look in the mirror and make sure they looked even. I looked pretty good, turning side to side and found nothing wrong and said so. He had me lay on the table and clamped the right one first. He told me to inhale, then exhale as he pierc ed. I sucked in a breath and made abit of a whooshing/quiet short squeal as it went through. I sucked in a bit of breath when he put in the hoop because it stung abit.
He asked me to get up and switch sides, putting my head where my feet had been and vice versa. Then he clamped the left, told me to breathe and did the second one. Now, the first ones hurt abit, but it wasn't that bad, mainly because I had adrenaline running through my veins. But the second one was just pure uncovered piercing and it HURT! It felt Hot and throbbed almost immediately. I made the same noise as before...only a lil louder this time! After it was done R.J. put the CBR's in and closed them; I stood up and admired them. THEY LOOK INCREDIBLE!! I have never seen my boobs as pretty.always thought they only looked "right" when cupped in a bra, but after the piercing, that changed DRAMATICALLY! I was amazed at how fine they looked and how sexy! I said, "They look soo good" and was beaming a 100-watt smile at R.J. and he said, "they do look good!"
While I was putting my top back on (carefully) R.J. sanitized the table and told me my after care instructions as well as a card with what I needed to do and know. He dumped my needle in the sharps container, lead me to the front and said Goodbye.
It's been about 2 1/2 weeks since I had them done and I'm loving it. I showed my best friend and now she wants hers done. I have been showing friends left and right (pun intended) and love the look of shock and hearing them say " OMG! You don't look like the type to do that!" It has made me love my boobs soo much too! I can't stop admiring them! Also since I had them done they have become soo sensitive, which is a good thing, because I never got much sensation from them before. They are pretty well behaved too, they sting abit when I clean them, but aside from that, I regret nothing!
If you're considering getting one or both done, DO IT! It was the best investment by far! Well worth it. So go for it!
Oh! And Here's a tip, invest in one or two of those tank tops with the built in bras.they are a must and feel soo good! Haha!
