Well, I was the original teeny-bopper. You know the type, quivering at having a standard navel done. Well no one who knew me thought I'd end up like this!

As I say, I had my navel pierced, and was happy, but kept checking BME. And I started looking at other 'bod-mods', in particular, nipples. My fiance and I started talking about it, and he always thought it looked sexy. But we thought that only one would look good as well, my left one namely, as I'm right handed, I don't use my left side as much. Plus I had been reading that the second hurts more than the first, and if that is true, then I'm glad I only had the one done! But naturally, being a man wouldn't do it himself! And thats all it was, talk.

Then I had an accident, hit and run on my scooter. So here I am, off for the past month with nothing to do! So, we go to bodyworks.

All the way there in the car I was sitting thinking, I'm never going to go through with this, I'll just get my navel jewellery changed. We finally parked up, and started wandering towards the shop, which is an effort and I half, ever tried dragging your feet to stall for time when you're on crutches?!? By the way, eat something before you go in, not after like i did!

After about 10 minutes we get there, and walk in. Deeeeep Breathes, and I'm not in the chair yet. We wander round the shop, looking at the flesh tunnels, and all their jewellery, and I finally pluck up the courage to ask the woman behind the counter what jewellery they use for nipples. She pulls out loads of trays with BCRs and barbells, with jewels, without. I asked her what she thought would be the best jewellery to get them pierced with, and she suggested a barbell as it would be less likely to catch on clothing etc. But to be honest as she was telling me all this, and prices, I wasn't really listening. They all looked very pretty, but I figured I could always put pretty ones in when it's healed. So I went with a plain SSS barbell.

Then came the disclaimer, which I had to sign, and I got ID'd again, no biggie, I am 18.

My (very nice) piercer came out and asked me if I liked to go out back, and then asked my fiance if he'd like to come to, which I was grateful for. Then came the strange bit, he asked me to lift my clothes up, and I wasn't in the slightest bit bothered! I'm not a small girl, and being a G cup, I get a bit paranoid! Anyway, he marks the holes, and clamps me. They don't hurt, they just feel weird. He then turns around and starts fiddling, and tells me hes just bending the bar for me. He also changes his gloves so many times, which is reassuring.

Then he asks if I'm ready! Ha, no I wasn't! There I was holding onto Stu, for dear life, and then the pain started. I was almost in tears, and so was Stu, I did have hold of his hand! Look, lets be honest here, if someone is going to stick a needle through your body, it's going to hurt. You could see Stu's face when he saw the needle! According to him, it was huge! I was going to look, but I felt a little unwell so I didn't. More pain as he put the jewellery in, in fact I nearly said "if thats not it then pull it out and forget it!" Well he screwed the ball on, and I was all done.

While I was in there getting my navel jewellery swapped, Stu paid. £30 for the piercing, and another £15 for my cool Playboy bunny!

We left, and it aches right after, so I end up walking really slowly back to the car, when stuart tells me to flash!

Thank god for a good, supportive bra! Every bump hurts after, but I dread to think what it would be like without a bra. No lace or anything, a plain supportive bra.

I didn't clean it last night, as it was too sore, so aftercare started this morning when I woke up. Savlon spray, and wipe it with a cotton bud (I think the americans call them Q tips). And when I'm in the bath, like I did with my navel, just soak it.

Well it looks really nice, even though I only had my left one done, I'm happy, and Stu's happy, he REALLY likes it.

All I can say is go for it, if you want it! You'll be happy you did!
