I was on hiatus in NYC & I was in the mood to get a piercing. "WHERE" was the big question. After many opinions & a lot of web surfing, I decided on the twins!

I went to the place where I had gotten my hood (my first & only non-ear piercing) done. I took 3 friends with me, mostly because they wanted to check it out because they were interested in getting their hoods done too. Actually, I was only going to see if my nipps could actually be pierced, since my nipples don't really get hard.
David said they were pierceable, so I decided to go for it that day. Since it'd take at LEAST 3-4 months to heal why not start now. I wasn't so scared of the pain as I was just nervous about getting it done. I was there for at least an hour before I actually went ahead and did it. Nevertheless, I was a soldier and volunteered my flesh for piercing. I picked a CBR due to his suggestion that it was easier to clean than a barbell, which I wanted. Because of my large nipples I had to get a thicker gauge hoop. That really scared me because it looked rather huge.
I had just had my hood done 6 months earlier so I wasn't too worried about the pain. It was really simple and there was no pain afterward. (I have a story on that too on BME somewhere. Pretty Black Pussy, I think) But just in case I asked that he do one first and then if I was still up to it to do the other one.
Blahblahblahblah, he cleaned, changed gloves several times, marked, etc., and I asked him to do it quickly. During my first piercing I didn't really concentrate on the breathing too much, but I decided that it would be a wise idea this time since it was supposed to hurt much worse. I'm breathing and getting a little more nervous. He pushes it in, it hurts like F^@k, and then he pushes it the rest of the way through & that hurts more. It's burning like Hades!!! Blahblahblah, pops a 10g CBR on & voila...I have a decorated twin! I was still like sh!t, but no need to stop now. He goes for the other one & it hurt just as bad if not a teeny bit more. No big deal. Yes, it hurt; however, it was not something I couldn't handle (at least not until later that night).
Forgive me for not elaborating, but here goes: David is the GREATEST!
Like an idiot I rode the subway. Big problems on the horizon. Walking to the train it was a bit chilly, so the nipps got hard and that was quite uncomfortable. Next, the escalator was broken, so I had to bounce the Double D's all the way down a zillion steps at damn near an 80-degree angle at Dupont Circle. After that the ride home was quite bumpy. My 'friends' were laughing at me the whole time. En route they even pointed out to a subway passenger what I just had done. Finally, I get to the car & hop in the driver's seat with my friends in tow and I learned my first important lesson of driving with freshly pierced nipps: place the seatbelt above the breasts!
That night I was 'supposed' to go out, but that was definitely not happening! Late that night I felt that piercing my nipples was the worst thing I could've ever done. My chest was burning & throbbing. Chest trauma was what I was living. I began to cheer up a day or two later. Then I began falling in love with my twins. My nipples were erect all the time for a month or so, they were especially sensitive (they were not at all before), and they just looked plain ol' sexy----Sexual Chocolate!
The healing process isn't really a breeze. The blood and goo will make you a bit squeamish. The funny thing is I'm really comfortable with blood, guts, etc. but that first day when I took a shower I almost fainted. I guess it was just too much for me to see blood coming from my breasts. I tried to sleep in a sports bra and that worked for a while. Then my breasts needed some air so I tried a tight shirt. That helped a lot. Now, sometimes I sleep in just a regular shirt and there is no discomfort.
Someday soon, when they heal completely, I hope to get some curved barbells. When the summer comes I'll be out in full force wearing tank tops and glow in the dark beads on my twins.
I love my shiny twins...and so does everyone else =^)
I love when people give me that quizzical look, "Does she have 4 nipples?" It's hilarious because people will stare, but they'll NEVER ask.
My advice: Get it done! You'll love it!
