I'd wanted to get -something- piecrd for quite some time, I thought about piercing my eyebrow but then I thought why my folks would say. I'm a very liberal guy but I've always had to keep some of the more extreme things secret like going to raves and stuff. That might not sound like much to you but meh.

Anyways I was trying to think of what I wanted to get pierced and then one day a friend of mine showed me his nipple piercing. At first I thought it was weird but kinda cool in a way. That settled it, I was going to pierce my nipple. It was cool but I was also able to hide it from certain conservative people. Anyways first thing I wanted to do was find some info on nipple piercings and that's how I found BME. This site helped me a lot like wether or not to get a ring or a bar, anyways that isn't really important. Being the lazy bugger I am I decided to search for some piercing studios on the internet.

The first place I found was called "the House of Pain", not a good

name for the place you want to go to get your first piercing. Second place I found was cleaner and seemed more professional. I didn't want to go alone so I almost begged for a friend to go with me and he agreed to do so, really helped me emotionally :-) I found the address and took the train into the city, it took us a while to get in and each passing minute I got more and more nervous. I mean I was really shaking. So we get to the place and the first thing I notice it a giant butt-plug in the window, I started to get second thoughs but my friend pushed me in.

I was greeted by a really nice girl there and made an appointment, since they were booked I had to wait 2 and a half hours. That really didn't go so well down with my nerves. Too hours later after I had a huge soda at McDonalds hoping that would bring my blood sugar level up again we went back. This time we were greated by a big guy with a lot of tattoos and ear tunnels, he was extremely nice and calmed me down a lot. He told me his name was John and that he was going to be the guy who would pierce me.

After I filled out some forms (something saying I wouldnt sue them if they cut off my nipple or something) I waited another 15 minutes while they cleaned everything, I forgot the name of the thing they used to compress the ring and needle with. Finally it was time.. he called me in and I nervously (did I mention I was nervous) walked into the room. It looked more like a hospital than a piercing studio, like I said they were EXTREMELY professional about everything, even the pliarrs were sterilised. He joked around a lot which really helped me calm down and explained to me what he was going to do. First thing he did was ask me to take my T-shirt off and sit in the chair while he cleaned my nipple, he used like 3 or 4 different anti-bacterial liquid to clean it with, after that I had to get up and he marked where on my nipple he was going to pierce, after I told him it was the left nipple I wanted piecred so I sat in the chair again. He clamped the pliars on my nipple (which actually was the most painful part) and was about to poke the needle through.

There was no going back now. He told me to take a deep breath and when I exhaled he was going to pierce me. BANG! One second and it was over.

I'm not going to lie, it did hurt but nothing like I had expected it to. Seriously, there was a little burning/pinching feel but nothing -that- bad, I was

surprised when he said it was one of the most painfull piercings you could get. After he put the ring in I stood up and admired it in the mirror, I was now a pierced human being :-) He put a huge plaster over it and gave me some special soap along with instructions on how to clean it.

This was little over a week ago, there's a little throbbing feeling but nothing too bad. My advice to you people who're thinking of getting it done, just fucking do it!

Seriously, it hurts for 3 seconds tops! No blood or anything.

Well all I have to say is I have no regrets... so far :-)
