Well for the longest time I had been wanting a new piercing but wasn't sure what I wanted. I had put a lot of thought into it and decided that I wanted to get my nipples pierced. A few days before I went to go and get them done I was talking to a friend of mine who had them done before and she was telling me that hers hurt for months. That they hurt so bad she had to take them out and get them redone and the same thing happend. I figured that she might know what it would be like because I have pretty big breasts (42dd) and was pretty afraid that I wouldn't be able to get them done and/or heal them correctly. So she had told me instead of my nipples I should go and get my hood pierced, well I did but the urge to get my nipples just didn't go away.

Then I told her I was joking and since she knew that I really did want to do it but was a chicken she simply said "nope now its to late we have to." So then I filled up my car with gas and we headed downtown to the shop. As we were driving I was getting more and more nervous as I was closer to the shop. I had gotten pierced before and I knew it was only going to hurt for a second. The thought of the size of my breasts and the fact that I am volumptious and not a stick was making me nervous, the thought of having to take off my top in front of a stranger was almost as scary as getting pierced.
Well finally we were at the shop and I told them what I wanted done and filled out the normal paperwork that goes a long with piercings. Then I was told it would be about a 20min wait, so my friend and I sat and waited. Finally it was time to get my precious nipples pierced, it was my first time meeting patrick my piercer but he made me feel very comfortable and told me to take off my top and bra. So I did it, he never commented or laughed or anything at my body and as soon as I realized that I was very relaxed. I stood there with my friend watching as I got marked and then Patrick had my lie down on the table and he got everything ready. He told me that normally the second one hurts worse so he asked which nipple was more sensitive and he would start with that one. So the started with my right nipple. I had my friend hold my hand and told her no matter what I want them both to be done. So Patrick put the clamp on and told me it would be uncomfortable but I really didn't find it to be to bad. The he said for me to take a deep breath in and out and he shoved the needle through. Yes it hurt but only for a few second then he put the barbell in. He asked me if I was ok and still wanted to do the second one and I said I was fine. So he put the clamp on again I took a deep breath and owie that one hurt a lot more, but I was ok and he put the barbell in. He went over the cleaning and how to take care of them.
I went out that night and when I got home I cleaned them off with water and did just left them to heal on their own. Since I know my body and know it heals piercings very well on its on I did not do much other than clean it in the shower and keep crusties off. Its been about 4 months now since I have had them pierced and I have had no problems, the only thing I had trouble with is if I try to change the jewelry to a CBR but that is normal because it was done with a straight barbell. I still get occasional crusties and since they heald so well I am thinking of going sometime and getting vertical ones right behind the ones I have now but thoes wont be for a while. I would recomend getting them pierced with barbells because for me they were very easy to take care of and you don't have to worry about flipping them up and down.
All and all I would say this is a great piercing, since having them done my nipples are much much more sensitive than before which is great. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.
