i had wanted a piercing for quite a long time, just for the sake of experiencing what it was like. i have always been a very normal guy, who has been doing what people expected. still i did not feel quite satisied, i needed some quite of unusual experience, something not everybody had done before. Still i was working for a mp and could come to work with anything visible pierced. so i had to decide on what i would like to get done.
At A Glance Author anonymous Contact anonymous@bme.anon Artist no idea Studio twister Location berlin, germany last weekend i went to london with my sister and a friend of mine. while walking through london the friend of mine told me about doing something absolutely crazy - like getting a piercing. since then i did not really get the thought out of my mind. we did not make it to a piering studio in london but still i was captured by the idea of something getting pierced.
the only problem was that i could not turn up at work at work with a modification everybody could see as a work for an german mp and a visible piercing would not be appropriate for that. so i decided to get my nipple pierced. it took me a couple of days to finally make up my mind since i do not have any male friends with a piercing. still i felt the urge to get something pierced.
back in germany i still had the idea and finally i had the time to leave early after work...
today after work i went to a piercing place near to where i live and asked them for their prices. they told me what it would cost and i went to the bank to get the money. by that time i was really convinced i wanted it done. but dtill i was not quite up to it. while driving from the bank to the studio i was not very concentrated on th traffic as the only thing i had in mind was my piercing. on the way i nearly crashed into a taxi....
by the time i arrived at the studio i was even more nervous. i had thought of having a piercing for such a long time but i never got as far as thinking what it would be like. the people at twisters where really nice and offered me a coffee while waiting for the piercer who was having her lunchbreak just then. although i signed the consent form i did not quite realize what was going to happen to me. i was very shaky at that time, even my piercer realized that i was having my first piercing. despite having seen many pictures on bme i had no idea what i would be like to aktually have a piercing done on yourself.
so i went into the piercing room. it seemed to be in order and the piercer (i did not get her name) was trying to comfort me as well as she could. first of all she was was asking me questions about myself ( what made me feel a hell of a lot more comfortable). although she knew i was having my first piercing she was very understanding. after she asked which nipple i wanted to have pierced (i decided on the left one) she said it would hurt a little bit, but she used icespray and an other thing (which name i have forgotten) to ease the pain. she explained everything she did, from marking the spot (to make sure it was fitting alright with my body) to pushing the needle trough. i felt very comfortable with her.
the actual piercing was not as bad as i thought it would be. my piercer tould me to close my eyes as i qould not like to see what she was doing. then she counted up to three and pushed the needle through. there was a little pain for a second and since then there was i had no pain what so ever.
after getting pierced found myelf in a state of shock but still managedto pay and get my care instructions.
it is only couple of hours ag but so far i have not experienced any trouble and i reallly enjoy my piercing. i still have not told anybody about the piercing and i feel it is a very private thing and not to be revealed in public. i am not quite sure if i am going to keep it since i primarily got it done to experience what it would be like getting pierced. but i will keep you informed whtever is going to happen.
