a tale of two nipples

i'm a 19 year old college student from the small town of New Wilmington, PA. i grew up around people who were pretty backwoods; no piercings and only biker tattoos. in high school i was pretty preppy, you know the type...cheerleader, volleyball player, Bible group president. But in my senior year i decided to get a tattoo( a flaming chili pepper on my calf). mom and dad didn't have too much of a problem with that...since it could be covered up.

i started college that fall at the art institute of pittsburgh...where all the freaks come out to play. it was then that i became interested in piercings and body mods. before i left my dad informed me that if i came home with any piercings or anymore tats, that he wouldn't pay for school and that he's cut off whatever i had done. i took him seriously and did what i was told...for a while.

in the spring of 2000, on a shopping trip with the girls from work, i got my tongue pierced. it was a spur of the moment thing. we were walking past this hole of a studio. it was actually some sort of jewelery store that did piercings too. not a good idea...i don't advise anything like that. well, i ended up getting my tongue pierced that day by some older man who charged me way too much. but Praise the Lord, i've had no infections or problems.

later on that year a few friends of mine had mentioned getting thier nipples pierced. i was completely against the idea when i first heard it. but then i started to think about it. it would be kinda cool to to have a piercing that was abnormal..but no one could see. so i talked to my roomate about it and she said no. but after a few months of talking about....we decided to go through with it.

in the city paper there are many different piercing studios that are in the same area. so i began calling about prices. that's how i discovered Body Baazar. thier prices are really good and they do excellent work. so my roomate and i set a date to go in.

i informed a friend of mine what i was doing and she was disgusted...but offered to drive that night. so she came to pick up my roomate and i around 6pm. we went straight to Body Baazar for me to get my "girls" taken care of. when i walked in i was very nervous. i announced to whoever was in the room that i wanted to get my nipples pierced...the room was suddenly very quiet. the owner handed me some paperwork to fill out and sat down to talk with me about my medical history. i felt comforted that i would be baring my breasts to a woman rather than a tattooed man who i didn't know.

the studio itself was very clean and quite large. i didn't get that cramped feeling when i was in there. the room that i was in for the procedure was still very large. it was clean and had personal touches about the room. she told me to take off my shirt and bra and sit down. then she cleaned the area to be pierced with Betadine and then marked my breasts with a pen. she told me everything that she was doing as she did it, that made me more comfortable. she then applied the clamp to my right nipple. it hurt alot...that would have to be the worst part. then i closed my eyes and she pushed the needle through. it was a sharp pain along with a warm sensation. after that she threaded the ring onto the needle and pulled it through. then she did the same to my left breast. when she was finished she cleaned up the small amount of blood and handed me a mirror while she cleaned up the area. it looked great and then i put my shirt on went into the waiting room.

she handed me a paper on cleaning and some betadine to clean my nipples with. that was when they began to hurt. i was unable to wear a bra, so my shirt rubbed the area. that was very painful.

since then the healing process has been good. i have the usual tenderness that comes along with pushing steel through your boob. but they are looking great. about a week after the piercing i was able to wear a bra again. it's better to have something protecting them from your clothing. about two weeks after they began to itch. it's just like any other wound...when it heals, it itches. so be prepared for many trips to the bathroom to itch your boobs. unless you're open enough to play with yourself in public.

this was something that i did for me...not those who have tha balls to ask to see them.
