Hey everyone! It's me, Switch, with another fabulous tale about the ongoing pursuit for body modification. I just had my nipples pierced, and I couldn't wait to chronicle my tale into one long narrative for your reading enjoyment!!

Why Did I Decide to Pierce My Nipples...?

Even my fiancee has been asking me why I wanted to do it. I have my tongue pierced and of course my ears (not to mention my tattoos),but thats about it. So when I decided that nipple piercings were something to think about, my guy was wondering why. I mean, usually your chick doesn't starrt raving about whether or not to get her nips pierced as often as you might think! However, he was very receptive and approving of the whole deal, although he couldn't figure out why all of a sudden, I wanted them done. I wasn't sure either, except my mind kept rolling back to a night when my fiancee and I were out at the bar, and this girl walked by our booth. My eyes had inadvertently slipped to her chest, and through the transparency of her shirt, I could see the outlines of her nipples and the bumps from the beads of the CBR's she was wearing. At that point I saw her piercings as being very sexy and attractive, and I look that I wished to duplicate-as long as I could muster the courage to do it. My nipples are very sensitive, enough to the point where when I had my son, I didn't breastfeed because they hurt too much. Now I was thinking about piercing when I couldn't even do that?!!? The more I talked to my guy about it, the more I wanted to go for it. Finally I set up my appt for a Friday evening-5 to be exact. I was nervous, but exhilarated.

Prelude to The Piercing...

Let me frame the kind of day I was having. It sucked!! I was moving and my fiancee and I were doing the usual fixing, cleaning and moving of belongigngs to the new place. I was getting bit up by mosquitoes and was in desperate need for a shower. before I knew it, 5 o clock had rolled around. I still wasn't moved so I had to postpone my appt for 7:30. It seemed to take forever for 7:30 to come. At that point, moving was at a standstill (as we were waiting for the truck to come back) and it looked like I'd be going to Cactus by myself. I really wanted someone to come with-my guy'd have to stay and wait for the truck. I think that my fiancee saw my apprehension in being pierced alone, and he said that he'd go with me (which was the original plan). His other friend who was helping us move drove us to the shop.

Arriving at Cactus...

When we got there, it was pretty dead. There was a girl getting a tattoo in the back room, but otherwise there was noone there. I showed the guy working my ID and saw Julie, my soon-to-be piercer there waiting for me. I know Julie alright because I know one of her sisters well. We said our hellos and started the business of looking for jewelry.

I have a nickel allergy so I wanted niobium (titanium) jewelry. I had also read that titanium doesn't reject as much as ss. Unfortunately the selection of jewelry in this metal at the store wasn't great so I selected a pair of 14 g dark blue CBR's with hematite beads. Julie took them back to be sterilized and afterward told me to come on back. My fiancee closely followed.

Questions I Asked...

I asked a lot of questions. I knew the shop is a clean one so I had no worries about that. I asked if I removed the rings, would they heal back. Julie said that she let her piercings close when she was pregnant, and was able to breastfeed. Mostly I was asking about rejection, chance thereof (because it can happen) and aftercare. I'll get to that in a later portion.

The Piercing Itself...

Julie had me take off my shirt and sit up straight so she could mark the entry & exit holes. After the holes were marked to our satisfaction, she had me lie back on the table. I remember my fiancee watching carefully-I knew that he was wondering how much it would hurt and how well I could take the pain. I felt very nervous! Julie was very kind and kept me talking. She out the clamp on the first nipple. A lot of people say that the clamp hurts but to me it never does. She then told me to take a few dep breaths and then to take one final big one-she would put the needle through on my exhale. I messes up and in-haled as the needle drove home. It didn't hurt at first but as the needle went to the middle of my nipple it sure did and I remember rubbing my toes together in pain!

The second one was the left and I was expecting it to hurt more (see, Julie is right handed so piercings can hurt a little more on that side because of it) but it didn't. See, Julie pierced from the *inside* on that one and i would be lying if I said it didn't hurt because yes, it did! Julie saw me squirm in discomfort and said that the second one always hurts the most. My fiancee had this look on his face I can't describe but later he admitted that he broke into a sweat at the moment of truth and said that watching was a very big turn on for him. I loved my piercer and the wonderful job she did so much I tipped her $10 (the procedure was $90) Don't forget to tip you piercer, ya'll-esp when they do such a good job as Julie had.

Aftercare Instructions...

Julie told me to NEVER (and we all know this) to touch the piercings. Don't even soap them in the shower. Soap is way to harsh to use on newly pierced flesh. Instead, I was instructed to use sea salt-1/4 tsp per 8 oz h20. To apply it, mix the proper portions of salt and water in Dixie cups and hold them on your nips. Yes, it looks funny but it's easiest to do lying down on the couch. Of course you have to get rid of the "crusties" of blood and pus that can drain from the holes. It builds up on the jewelry and surrounding skin. What you do is soak your nipples with the sea salt first-this makes the crusties easiest to wipe away with a clean Q tip. Another no-no is moving the rings back in forth in the holes. Just don't do it-leave them be and soak them and they will heal up fine.

After the Piercing(s)...

Now I wore a loose t-shirt after but that hurt so I resorted to a clingier top. I went without a bra for a couple days. Its been 4 days since the piercings and now I have a bra on. The pressure of the bra will make it feel better so I'd suggest that. Make sure you sleep in clean sheets and wear clean shirts and bras.

At any rate, I never really gave much thought to pain experienced from piercings but afterward I got a lot of attention from people who were awed that I could do it (my fiancee included) It made me realize that piercings can be a rite of passage in that dept too. The more I pierce myself the more I see people fascinated and turned on by piercings-esp people who don't have any themselves but are curious.

I've always said that pain should NEVER, ever be a deterrent from getting modified. It should be welcomed!

My fiancee loved my piercings (as do I ) and now he wants me to get a chastity piercing to complete everything. I don't know if I'm ready for a genital piercing so I'll leave that idea alone-for now.

Take care!
