16 female self nipple piercing...ouch!

Well, here goes. Ok a little background piece first. Now I had done my right nipple before but I had totally screwed that one up. It was a way too close to the surface and sadly it ended up migrating out only a month after i had done it. So believe me i was pissed! But i had just bought an 18 gauge circular barbell which i was planning to put in my right nipple and was not about to let it go to waste. So i decided to do my left nipple.

I knew this was gonna hurt bigtime so i tried to think of ways to numb it & get it done faster. I actually bought a regular ear piercing gun & foolishly thought i could just squeeze that and it'd go in real quick right? Wrong!! So i'm sitting there & taking deep breaths to calm down when I squeezed it real hard & ouch!!! it hurt so bad and even didn't go through but 1/3 of the way. I tried to suck in the pain & just keep squeezing the gun till it was through but i just couldn't take it. But since by then the stud had made a little hole about half way in i would try to manage the rest using a hollow piercing needle.

So i push in the needle & it's halfway through and it took me 2 AGONIZING hours before i saw the needle about to poke out the other side. It took me so long cause I kept resting and would have to quit and have a cigarette every 20 minutes to keep me calmed down. But anyways, even though the needle was almost through, I decided i'd had enough so i took out the needle and quickly slipped in a regular silver earring as far in as it would go. I decided i'd leave it like that for a while and finish it later. To keep the ring from falling out I put a bit of tape over the nipple and ring.

Well about 3 weeks go by and I still hadn't finished it yet. I'd change the tape everyday & clean it to prevent infection but one day I pulled off the tape to clean it & pushed on the ring & I could just barely see the end of the ring sticking out through the other side of the nipple. I decided to finish it now. So instead of taking out the ring and pushing the needle in again, i decided i'd try to push the end of the ring through. That hurt pretty bad but not as much as the needle did. I held a bit of ice on the nipple to help numb it & that worked some. Finally after about 10 minutes, the shiny metal part of the ring was completely visible & was about to be completely through. But for some reason it wouldn't go any further so i pulled away some skin around the end of it that was holding it back & all of a sudden it slides right in painlessly. phew!! i had finally done it! (oh yeah this was a regular ring i was using, it wasn't the circular barbell)

now all I had to do was close the ring & i'd be done. So i'm doing this real easy & took me only 5 minutes to close it. I just sat on my bed breathing in and out cause I knew I was finally done. So i take a shower & put some anti bacterial cream on it & go to bed. It was a tad bit sore but that went away very quickly.

I still wanted the circular barbell in instead of that plain old ear ring but I waited till it was almost fully healed before I changed it from the ring to the barbell. That hurt too because the barbell was round and did NOT want to go through. Also the hole was just a tad too small for the barbell. It took me about 30 or 40 minutes but, yes I did finally manage to get it in. It looks way much better now and feels better too.

Well, that's how i pierced my nipple. I'm so glad it's done now. It's been about 4 months since I did it and everything has turned out fine. I love having the circular barbell in there because I think they look so much better than just straight barbells. I have no idea why that's just the way i am. I don't think i'll do my right one again myself considering how much it hurt doing them so I may just go to the pro's for that one. Anyways thanX for reading.
