Heyhey guys!

Well well well, I had been saying I'd get this done for ages, so one day I decided it was time.......I GOT MY NIPPLE PIERCED!! I decided on the Left one for some reason, I dont know why, but it just seemd right somehow to pierce that one........I went to Spookies because I know Jenny, the piercer. She's great, she's probably the nicest person I've ever met! Spookies is a really friendly place and Jenny gives you loads of advice about how to look after your new piercing and gives you a truthful account of how much pain you can expect. I was quite nervous, but it was really OK......I had had my belly button pierced there two weeks earlier so I kinda knew what to expect! That, incidentally, is when I realised that I had to have another piercing! I know to some people the thought of having a piece of metal shoved through your skin is repellant, and i thought so, too, before I had my belly button done on the spur of the moment!

Well, I got to Spooks, which is a really cool place and does loads of gothic stuff as well as piercings, I didnt have to make an appointment because I got there at 10am before anyone else had got there. I paid for the piercing and decided on the jewellery I wanted which was a stainless steel ring with a ball on it, it cost me £19, which I understand is pretty good. I have to admit to being chicken and having feezing sapray! Anyways, Jenny kindly asked me to remove my top and bra so that they didnt get in the way ( just a statement of pure common sense here, but i would recommend that you wear a top and bottoms, rather than a dress or something that you would have to remove entirely because the nipple is really sore and touch sensitive immediately after the piercing!) and then she sprayed my nipple with the spray until there was somehting like frost all over my nipple, making it white! Then she showed me the needle being unwrapped, along with the ring and proceeded to pierce my nipple....it didnt hurt at all at that stage! I was kinda like "Oh my God, is that it?!", but then she put the ring through and I felt a kinda burning sensation, but not too much pain. Once the ball was on the ring and the aneasthetic started to wear off it did begin to hurt and it bled somewhat too, but it was bearable! Im having the other one done soon, this time without aneasthetic! If you dont like blood, I wouldnt recommend getting this done, though because it did bleed for the rest of the day and for the day afterwards it bled a bit too. But overall I would say that piercing is great, I was scared unnecessarily, it was fine! Like I said, the other nipple is getting done soon, and my tongue is next after that!! Wish me luck....

I used Savlon Woundwash on my nipple, but found that if i sprayed too much on it, then i got an itchy red rash!! So I now use less woundwash and also bathe it in Salt water, so I can do that and my belly button at the same time! And the nipple piercing has given me no trouble whatsoever in the three weeks ive had it, my boyfriend loves it! Its a brilliant brilliant way to make sex more enjoyable, too, because piercing the nipple makes it more sensitive to touch and heat, both of which you enounter during sex! ( or at least I do.....!!) He loves to fiddle with it in his mouth and I love it too! I highly recommend nipple piercing! it has to be one of the most satisfying experiences of my life! Now I can really say Ive got a piercing that a lot of other girls would not have the guts to have done and I did it! HOORAH!!

SOME WORRIES MY MUM HAD.......!!

*she said i would not be able to breast feed children....this is untrue as i researched this thouroughly beforehand!

*It would get infected very easily.....so far i havent had any problems and its nearly been a month since i got it done!

*It would be very painful.....FALSE! The most pain i felt was like a burning sensation after the jewellery had been put in...and a kinda ache too, but it was all bearable!

*It would get caught on clothing and during sex....it doesnt do either and i have a ring! If it was a bar, it would stand even less chance of getting caught, but i wanted a ring to match the one in my belly button!

*Its unladylike....This all depends upon the person being pierced and your reasons for having it doen, i got mine done because i thought it was pretty and thought my boyfirnd and i could enjoy it, if you get what i mean!

But all is now well so i shall leave you to get your piercing done!!

Vanessa
