Getting pierced for the first time

Hi.I'm a high school senior who just got my nipples pierced. It was an awesome experience. To anyone who would like theirs done do it. It is worth the tiny amount of pain. My nipples look wonderful and very sexy.

Well, I first got the idea to get my nipples pierced when I saw a guy with pierced nipples on a forward I got. Unfortunately I couldn't get it done right away due to sports I'm involved in. I was always on the Internet looking for jewelry and reading experiences to prepare myself I guess. My friends thought I was absolutely nuts. I told them about it to get their opinions and all they did was ask, Why do you want to do that to yourself? I got the same reaction from my family but they supported me. Now of course they all want to see it though.

I live in a small, conservative town in the middle of nowhere. To even find a place that does piercings seemed like a miracle. After many hours of searching the Internet and talking to people I found Derma Design. I think I must be the first person to ever get this type of thing done where I live. There's such awe that I actually had the balls to do it. Now onto the story.

Once my sports season ended I got an appointment at Derma Design Tattoo & Body in Bismarck. The studio was very clean and run well. I hadn't been that nervous until I got into the studio then the nerves started hitting me. I filled out the papers I needed to and met the woman who was gonna pierce me. The piercer, Heather, was really awesome. She warned me about possible complications and was really calming. I picked out my jewelry 14g niobium CBRs and was led upstairs. We talk for a while and when I got up there she closed the curtain and told me to make myself comfortable. I took off my shirt and bra and sat down in the chair. I don't have many inhibitions so I wasn't nervous about that at all. She cleaned my nipples and marked them. Then she put the clamp on the left one first and told me to take a deep breath and stuck me. It hurt for only one second then felt good. The next one was the same. I didn't even feel the jewelry go in. I bled right away a bit and then off and on through the night. She gave me some stuff to put into my bra so it wouldn't bleed through and I was on my way. The whole thing cost $46 and was worth a lot more than that. I went home after that and took some Aleve. It didn't really hurt it just felt like a bee sting.

That night I went to House on Haunted Hill and wasn't uncomfortable at all. When I first nipped out after I got it done it felt weird. Not uncomfortable just different. Well, sleeping was a different matter. I was so worried that I was gonna roll over on my chest that I could hardly sleep. The next morning when i cleaned it it stung a bit but was fine after. I didn't have any problems the rest of the day except when I rubbed it wrong and laid down and put pressure on it.

I'll be sleeping in sports bras until it heals up a bit more. That keeps them put so you don't get rubbed in a bad way. I also recommend using salt water soaks and make sure you always have clean hands before you touch them. I haven't had any problems with my piercings and hopefully won't. My nipples are much more sensitive now. They always had been but now it's incredible. I can't wait until they are healed up and I can put them to use. Needless to say I'm doing fine now. I don't regret it and don't think I ever will.

I've gotten different reactions to getting pierced. I'm really not the "type" that one would expect to have any type of piercings besides the ones in my ears. I'm seen as the good-girl academic jock type so it does suprise many people. Although I've got to say it is a pleasant surprise.

Finally, just a few warnings. Always make sure that if you get pierced anywhere on your body you check out the piercer. If you don't trust them or they seem shady find another place! I searched through many before I found one that didn't have some kind of complaints filed agaisnt them. Also, always watch them when they lay out the needles to make sure they are using fresh ones. When you get healed up make sure you take care of your nips. Don't let anyone pull on them too hard or you could have damage done to your friends. I guess just be careful and have fun with them.
