I was thinking about getting my navel pierced again for a long long time as I loved my 1st piercing, and wanted to add to it. So I finally plucked up the courage to go and get it done!

In college, I was unsure about getting it done again, but I thought if I don't bite the bullet and go now, I'll never do it. I was asking people at college what they think of it, and I got some good responses. So after college, I got on the bus to Manchester with my friend and we went to KFC and ate some gorgeous food! Then we went to McDonalds and I got a McFlurry....which was just gorgeous too! And my mate said the dude who served me fancied me because he gave me loads! I was unsure about getting my navel pierced at this point, I think I was the whole time, even when I had actually got it pierced.
We then got the bus to Bolton to find the place where I wanted to get my piercing at. Two years ago I had been to this place and trusted them. It wasn't dingey like your regular tattoo and piercing place, it was nice. And the piercing studio was much like the dentist, and it smelt and looked very clean.
Still I was undecisive about the whole thing, but my friends were reassurring me to just do it! I couldn't remember where it was I got my 1st piercing so I had to ask. It was raining and cold, and there was me and my mate trying to find this place.
Finally, we found it and I was so nervous, even though I have had it done before. I was in the studio called Stef's for about 5 minutes before I actually told Stef, the guy who did my piercing, that I wanted my navel pierced at the bottom. I took my own bar with a pink jewel, this would cost me £15 only.
I lay on the chair, which is just like a dentist chair, and I told Stef I was totally nervous and to be gentle with me and to make sure that he numbs my skin. He was really calming, but not enough! No-one could stop my nerves. I rolled my top up and breathed in hard. I could see all the needles and stuff on the side, but that didn't bother me atall, I was just nervous. He clamped the skin and started spraying it, this brought back the memories from 2 years ago when I had the top of my navel pierced. He put the needle through, which really hurt, I ain't gonna lie! Then as he put the tube through, that really hurt, and as he put the bar through, that really hurt too! I spose it's because the bottom of your navel is thicker than the top. But my piercing didn't bleed or anything so I was quite chuffed. I took a quick look at it and was fine. Stef had put the bar the same way as the top one which I didn't want at first, but now I really like it because not alot of people who have this done, have the bar like mine. My friend payed Stef, I said thankyou and then we left.
As I started to walk, I started feeling sick, really dizzy and light headed and I had to lean against a wall. But then I felt OK. As we were walking to the bus stop, my stomach was tingling a bit and kind of felt like I had been stung or something if that makes sense? I went to the shop and bought a milky bar to try and get my sugar level up a bit. At the bus stop I phoned another friend to tell her that I had had my navel pierced at the bottom, and ask for her advice about whether to tell my mum or not, as I hadn't told her. I followed her advice, to just tell her!
Walking home, I was dreading the moment I walk in my house, and I received a text message off my mum saying "where are you?", this didn't help atall! I walked in the door and she asked me where had I been. Then I just said "I've got my belly done". She freaked at first but I think she's OK with it now, thank God!
Now I'm cleaning my new piercing 3-4 times a day, and I am very happy with it! I can bend over and everything! I would recommend getting this piercing, even though it is known to really hurt, unlike getting the top of your navel pierced. Stef's is great! And anyone wanting a piercing or tattoo, go there if you live nearby.
