Okay, well, I started to like body piercing when I was 13. I wanted to get my nose pierced at the time but of coarse nobody would touch me. So I had to wait until I turned 16. As the years went by my fascination turned to tongue and navel piercing. Now I am very scared of the thought of pain but not of actual pain if you know what I mean.

So I turned 16 and didn't get anything until about 4 months later. My boyfriend had always told me that I couldn't modify my body because it was also his. Well stupidly I listened to him, but we broke up and the first thing I did was go get my tongue pierced. But this is about my naval so I will tell that story. I got my tongue in August and my navel October 17th, today!!! I didn't have to even convince my mom. I just told her what I wanted and we hopped in the car. I had a child when I was 14 and graduated from high school at 16 and am currently in college so my mom figures that I can handle my own ish. Especially when I am paying for it!

Well all this started a couple of days ago actually. I was itching for another piercing and was looking through the photos on this page and reading the stories. So I decided on getting my navel done. I didn't like the idea because it is so "trendy", but I love my stomach and knew I would look so great with it done. On Monday I went to the studio and found out that the piercer has Monday and Tuesday off. I promised them I would be back. The thought of going to another studio never crossed my mind because the Studio 805 is the only place I trust my body with, having had a previous experience with them.

I came back on Wednesday and Riun that I wanted my navel done. He was eating lunch but got my mom and me started on the paper work. Well just one paper. We showed our Ids and he told us to come back in 10 minutes, after he had finished eating. I walked down to some stores and looked around then came back. He said he would set up for me and went into the back room. He came out and asked if I was ready and told me to go sit on the chair in the little room. Now I have been there before but you haven't so I'll describe the room briefly. It was well lit and all white with black and white checked floor. The chair is large and can recline, which is what I had to do. There is cute little signs and pictures on the walls, and a dentist's tray with all the tools on it.

Riun came back in and asked how I was doing. I said fine and he said I better be because it is such a beautiful day outside. Now you have to realize the Riun is cute. He has a bunch of piercings himself and he is just hot. But he has a girlfriend. =( *sigh Anyway, he knew me from my tongue piercing and we just started talking about the pain factor of my navel and whatnot. He put his pink gloves on (so cute) and took the clamps out of a bag so I knew they were sterilized. He had me lay back and he rolled my shirt up, then he marked me with a purple pen. He didn't ask me if I liked where it was but I trust him and knew it would be perfect. =) He clamped me and before I knew it I was pierced. He didn't warn me, but I didn't need it because it really wasn't that painful. Just a pinch. He then put on my ring, which I didn't feel at all, and he told me I was done. He went over the aftercare and that was that. I paid him $40 plus a $4 tip. I know that was cheap but I gave him a $15 tip for my tongue so it evens me out.

I left and felt fine. Walked to my moms care and we hit the freeway, and that was when I almost died!! I started to feel nauseous and I started to sweat. Then everything got really white and I thought for certain I was going to pass out. I took deep breaths and turned on the air conditioning and after about 10 minutes I felt better. It has only been about 3 hours since I got it done. I still doesn't hurt at all and I am so happy with it.

I definitely recommend that anyone wanting a piercing in the Central Coast go to Studio 805. They are more then awesome; words can't describe how sweet and reassuring they are. They are there to make their clients happy. It is also good to build a relationship with your piercer if you are planning to get more the one. Find a good piercer and be friends! And tip!

I am planning to get more in the future. I told Riun that I would definitely be back. I want to get a tragus in each ear, a Madonna, my nose, maybe my nipples, and of course a tattoo, which I have to wait for (got to be 18). I just love body piercing and hey you only live once. So go for it. If you really want it there is nothing to lose. Have fun!
