I've always wanted to have some kind of body art. When I was younger I tried piercing my nose with a sewing needle. It didn't hurt me at all. Then again it takes a lot to make me say "Ouch". I also pierced both of my cartilage twice with a sewing needle and I must say pain is my pleasure. If you plan on doing something like piercing yourself with a sewing needle or anything else that could cause a serious infection, don't. You may not end up as lucky. Wait until you can find someone who has a clean shop who uses clean tools to pierce you.
At A Glance Author Mistress Fyah Contact Mistress Fyah@bme.anon When Two years ago Artist Drangon Dave Studio Screamers Location Ozark, Alabama, USA One day after joking with my boyfriend (Now my ex) Josh about getting a lip ring. It just stuck with me. I started placing earring studs against my face to see how it would look. I loved it. Also my cousin has one which entranced me. So one day I finally asked my mother how she felt about it. No surprise came when she said "Hell no! Are you crazy?". Being who I am I finally talked her into it after making all kinds of deals with her.
It was on a Saturday and had just gotten paid at my first job and I jumped up out of nowhere and told my mom I wanted it done the night. I just couldn't wait until I had my labret in and I was smiling from cheek to cheek. It was a horribly stormy night and my mom and I had terrible seeing the road and I remember her telling me she should have never gotten in the car to talk to me to get this mess in my face. I ignored her of course.
We finally got to Screamers on Highway 231 and Dave with his gray hair, many tattoos and, his big stomach. His shirt was tight and he had this sneaky smile on his face. From the looks of it he was an old pervert but, I didn't care. My labret was only a few moments away so who cares if he gets off on piercing sixteen year ago girls.
I filled out the form as quickly as possible. Then he asked me for my ID. I searched and searched but, I left it at home. Good thing had my birth certificate was in the car from the previous week or I wouldn't have been able to get my dream piercing. I took my time picking out my jewelry. I picked one with a light blue gem in it. After that he showed me to the piercing room. And being a clean freak I made sure she had an autoclave machine and everything was in my order according to my knowledge.
If you don't look and ask questions about their cleaning policy some won't tell you. And please remember to never get your piercing in the room they tattoo in. Okay back to the story. So she cleaned me up and marked me. I loved it. I asked him before he pierced me if he wanted me to rinse my mouth before hand. He told me "No, because they will kill the "good germs" needed to heal the inside wound. I accepted that as good enough reason. After a while He clamped my lip.
Which I must say is the painful part of any piercing. Then I felt this warm sensation under my lip. I asked him if it was the cleaning solution he had used. He said no and did a quick hand movement. He told me it was over and that I was picture perfect. I screamed and jumped out of the chair face forward towards the mirror. And there it was. The most beautiful labret piercing I had ever seen. :}
My mom looked at me and sighed then said "It first I thought you were joking and now look at you with this damn piece of wire though your face." I laughed and we headed on off to the store where I bought an almond joy.
A few days after I became bruised. Very purple. I was so worried I had an infection. I headed right back down to the studio and had him it out. He said I was just badly bruised. I wasn't surprised that clamp was from hell. Three days after my visit with Dave I lost my labret ball while washing my face. So I had to stick an eraser on it and go take to the shop that next morning. I picked out another labret and had him put it in for me.
After all of that confusion it was great. I had no problems. Remember to rinse your mouth with sea salt and soak the outside with it. It works wonders. I must say love my labret piercing so much. I've had it two years now and I get so much attention from it. The most question I receive is "Does it hurt?" NO! It did hurt and if you want it bad enough a small pinch should not matter.
