My mom finally agreed to allowing me and my sister to get piercings for my sister's sixtenth birthday. I had already gotten the left side of my lip pierced on my birthday. and went in this time to get the right side done. Snake bites : ).

My mom had been very reluctant to the whole thing, my dad was in China, I think that's why she caved under the pressure. I turn 18 in about two more whole months so she's going to have to get used to it because I'm going all out when I turn 18! Hopefully she won't hate me : ). When we were filling out the paper work, she stated that she left her ID at home, we were all really mad, but luckily when they went out to the car to drive home, they found her ID in a little black side bin thing in the big green van.

The piercer, not to be mean, kind of looked like a drug addict. He did my first piercing though and it turned out really good, but this time he looked a little weird. But the piercings there are cheap so what can you do.

So we go in, Me, My sister, My best friend, her best friend, and the momma. My best friend got the left side of his lip pierced. It looked so good on him, it was adorable. He also has his nose pierced and it just went really well together, he got a little silver stud, CUTE! Then my sister got her nose pierced and it also looked really really cute. This piercing looked like it hurt though, I want mine done but owie. She got a little silver stud, and changed it in like the first couple weeks with no problems which I thought was weird. She shouldn't have changed the silver stud I don't think because I thought it was way cute.

I was third. The piercer made his mark and I looked at it, had everyone else look at it, it was as even as it was going to get. So how did I end up with uneven snake bites???

Anyway, the piercer put the needle through and I got up to look at it, I didn't notice anything significant right away, but my best friend did and it was all he could say on the drive home, "I'm pretty sure that one's too low." AWESOME!!

When I got to an actual mirror I looked into the mirror and I saw that the piercer had marked the little dot in the perfect place. However, when he went to pierce my lip, he didn't exactly hit his marl. I was a little too low. And it didn't seem too bad but I could tell and when I asked to people to carefully examine it, they could also tell. So I was pretty upset, who wants to have it done again, I wanted it done right the first time!!! It's their job! But I guess everyone makes mistakes : /.

I tried to deny this fact by just saying that it was swollen and once it went down they would even out. Not the case. I loved it though, it looked sweet on me, but they were just uneven.

So I decided to take it out : (.

I decided this and then it took me like week to actually decide I was gonna do it, I just really enjoyed having it on that side of my lip as well.

But I couldn't, because the ball was insanly tight on the post and I couldn't turn the ball without turning the post.

So I went in to the piercing shop, my piercer wasn't there, but another one took out the ring after telling me it WAS in fact a little uneven. They told me I could go back in one week to get it redone. I've waited two weeks so far.

I work the next week straight, so when I go back to get it redone I'll be good and healed. Hoping it works out the second time around!! I hate the scar, so noticable. Not pretty!!

My dad never got to see it when he got ack from China. But he will when I get it redone next week!! My mom is really happy I took it out, so she will not be estactic to take me back t othe piercing shop which is like twenty minutes away from my house, to get my snake bites back.

Overall it was a bad experience, I should have just got them and been done with it, I hate it when bad things like this happen, it just makes everything more of a hassle then it ever needs to be. Oh well.
