Stage 3 In My Facial Piercing Project - Snake Bites

The experience previous to this was at the same time. I had done a beautiful vertical labret. The snake bites were done directly after this piercing was finished.
This piercing was done by Dan at www.lefthandpathtattoos.com he has done all of my piercings and I do not go anywhere else. I think it is important to have a relationship with your piercer. For them to know you and also for you to be comfortable with them and to believe in their abilities etc.
This day I was getting three piercings. My comment here is that Dan was fast, efficient and knew exactly what he was doing. The visit began as all of mine do there with a friendly catch up and then making some choices. We went into the piercing studio and dan showed me some jewelery choices. I knew what I wanted the moment I saw them. Open hoops with ball ends. I loved them. Yes they cost a little more but they were what I wanted !!!!
MY first vision of snake bites was running my site RQP. I came across Kissy Kapri an adult star in the movie Tough Love # I can not remember. I could see SHE HAD PIERCINGS!!!
I turned to google. It is always my friend. An image search soon found images of Kissy Kapri at the adult award party. And yes there she was with spikes in her snake bites. HOT HOT HOT.
I started looking for more but Dan had shown me a photo of him with the same hoops in snake bites and I was sold. I must say though I have now got spikes to switch and match as I please. A little variety in ones life is always good!! I would like to get a set of longer spikes also for errr SPECIAL OCCASIONS he he.
Anyway back to the piercing. I had previously had time to discuss the jewelery etc and to head off to the bank machine around the corner to get the money to pay for my newest adornments.
While I was doing that my jewelery was in the autoclave waiting to finish its cycle before it could be threaded through my skin. I sat impatiently but still was able to chat to Dan a bit. The music playing there is always stuff I enjoy. It makes my experience that much better.
So fast forward time.
To me sitting on the piercing bed. Feet swun around. My new vertical labret in its pride of place in the centre of my lip and to Dan .... Saying ok lets make some marks on your lips. No persons face is symetrical so we will do a few marks and you can look at them and see them.
He is correct I had been told years ago when I modelled that the right side of my lip was slightly smaller than the left.
We marked up a few marks in the centre of each side and finally I choose marks that were slightly further out on each side. Agreed the clamps cam out , gloves were changed, AGAIN. and my lip was taken in clamp :P
One done the pain? Quick sharp .. LOVELY I enjoy it. Pain to some is pleasurable to others. The tube was trimmed and left and he moved quickly on to the other side. Same quick procedure no different in feelings of pain or whatever.
Then it was time for my jewelery. They were slipped through the tubing, which was quickly removed. Then came the fun. Two balls to be screwed on... yeah you know what I mean. Lip piercings can be a pain. Still it was pretty fast.
After care was to be the salt water swills and cleans. I was warned of swelling and I took an anti imflammatorie prescribed by my docotr to assist with this. I paid and thanked Dan :) I was a very happy customer. I told him I would see him soon about getting them looked at and having my other lip piercing shortened.
The snake bites healed damn fast. They were beautiful and I was falling deeper by the second into the world of body mods. It did not help that one of my RQP staff members is a piercer in malmo, Sweden. He and his lovely girl are both into extreme body mods and suspension.
The amount of compliments I got on them were wide and varied. I am a geek I run web sites. I go to class to study mainly coding and programming stuff. I am kind of scary looking so people do not come up to me and say OHHH DID THAT HURT or stupid shit. I would just walk off in my own world.
So round up time.
Pain: Minimal, bleeding also minimal but took my female submissive in recenmtly to get hers done and she bled loads on the right one. Both of us have high pain thresholds so are perhaps are not the best to judge that on.
Happiness: HELLA HAPPY. They are fantastic!!!
Healing: Quick, used some anti inflams, no complications, infections or any such things. Learning to eat was tricky. I found chopsticks were perfect and ate thai... the way the thai family all came out at my local one by one to secretly look at my new facial piercings was funny. Still they are getting used to it now.
Overall: If you are in Christchurch go down and see Dan and tell him you read about Queen. He will take great care of you. I am also happy to talk about any of my piercings drop me a line.
