When I was around 15 I decided I wanted my belly button pierced so after tons of begging and pleading my parents agreed finally. I went to Pincushion in Hyannis, Ma and Brian did it for me. Ever since then I was hooked with the entire culture and experience I started hanging out at Pincushion and discovered that me and Brian have the same birthday December 14th I decided then he'd be the only piercer to touch me. I wanted another piercing so not long after my 16th birthday I decided I wanted the left side of my bottom lip pierced.

Then came the hard part of convincing my parents. I got straight to it I had a really good argument set up I researched the procedure and talked to Brian allot about it and got the aftercare instructions and the prices. They finally agreed and we went a few days later. I was really nervous it was around 11:30 when we left because we had to get there and it took half an hour travel time or so Pincushion opens at noon. So we get there and no one is there yet just the guy Eskimo who is a fellow Pincushion and Brian groupie and happens to be there like everyday. So we wait and wait and then go in a record store near by to kill time. Brian shows up so we go back to pincushion. I'm telling him I want my lip done he's like alright let's get to it. He says "so you know the drill..." and explains the aftercare which I already had memorized weeks before. He cleaned the area three times then asked me which side I replied left and he marked it. I we nt to the mirror and said perfect. So I came back and lied back down on the padded black table.
He clamped my lip, took out the needle and pushed it through my flesh... mm yay! Only people who have had piercing done before know the thrill and rush from that. It's better than an orgasm by far way better. Anyway then he asked if I was ok I mumbled yes and he got the ring a 14G CBR and put it in clamped the ball and said it looked great. I got up and took a look thanked him so much*I'm so in love with him*(in a purely professional way mind you). And I ran down to show my dad. He hated it but I didn't care. My lip swelled allot like it went from Jennifer Aniston to Angelina Jolie in a matter of 2 minutes. I kept staring in the mirror on the way home. I've had not problems with it even though I play with it far too much.I always go and have Brian take a look at it to make sure it is healing well. It's been about 3 months and I still love it and stare in the mirror at it all the time especially in the car when I do my makeup. I also stare at my belly ring and that I've had almost two years. Happy piercing.
A list of my future piercings are: -venoms on my tongue, center tongue, conch, tragus, anti tragus, smiley, vertical eyebrow, anti eyebrow, bottom bellybutton and maybe a triangle. And possibly an industrial. So lots to do ha-ha I cant wait so excited.
My parents still hate my lip ring but they did with my belly ring too. I think they'll come around eventually since they like my belly ring now. I'm also presently gauging my ears. I have 4 piercings on my left ear. My cartilage, a self done third hole, and firsts and seconds from the mall. My other ear only has 2. I'm up to a 16 gauge now and plan to go bigger maybe to a 0 or a little less not sure yet. But I will never go bigger then a zero.
I work at stop & shop and recently they have been giving me crap about my lip ring saying I need to take it out(I got it done after they hired me by the way) and that I need to bandage it while I'm at work. Which is a huge annoyance and bad for it I'm pretty sure. But we are union and threes no rule that I've seen in the rule book they gave me when I was hired that states you cant have lip rings. Especially since they allow nose rings and eyebrow rings.
