When I was 12 I saw some crazy hippie while I was travelling with my parents over the summer and fell instantly in love.

Now I am in my twenties, my body is home to 14, ranging from clitoris to nostril.But I am going to tell you the tale of my resent piercing, My scrumper.
I was board. It was a Wednesday and it was raining. I had finished uni for the year .My friends had gone home and I was feeling rather fed-up and a tad hyper (due to drinking a fair bit of Ribennia).
I grabbed my bike out of the shed and decided I would ride my boredom away! I went on the usual route, and after half an hour I found myself out side Akasha in Portsmouth UK. I have had a number of piercing from Akasha, and I also did some modelling fro them last year, so I was pretty used to the staff, and the studio environment.Very clean, friendly, and welcoming.
The only thing I could think of which who cheer me up was the wonderful feeling of adding to my body. As I walked in the piercing clinic a cute guy smiled from behind the desk and I saw a wonderful ring which hung on his front teeth. I was instantly in love.
I spoke to him about getting a new piercing, and we went over a few ideas, but I was so taken to the scrumper he had, I wanted one straight away. We went over the pros-cons of a smiley, and after 10mins I had my heart set on it.
He told me to take a seat in the waiting room and help myself to the magazines on the table.Now this is my favourite bit, the waiting. I love the feeling of my nerves building up and the excitement of adding to my body. I have a very high pain barrier, so the pain thing is no problem what so ever; I just love the adrenaline you gain from waiting.
I got asked to come on in the studio, and take a seat. I was so excited I could have weed myself! The piercer sat me down and told me how she would perform the piercing, and what it would feel like. This just added to my pleasure, and it was really getting me going! She had a good look at the web in my mouth, and once she had got all of the equipment ready she told me to hold my lip up, and not to let to go till she had said. NOT easy! I was shaking with pure excitement, and my lip was a tad wet so it kept on slipping. Then there was a knock on the door, as she had not started the piercing she called out to come in, and there were 4 people who really wanted to watch me have my scrumper done. I instantly said 'Yes', I love the attention, and the thought of 5 people watching me gave me even more pleasure!
Then lifting my mouth open again, I felt her, after a countdown of three slide the needle through my mouth, and then fix a flat ball closer ring in place. The whole time I was watching five faces watching me, and their reactions were brilliant. After she had finished I opened my mouth wide and looked in the mirror. I loved it straight away. I gave the biggest grin I could.
It felt a little strange at first, as my lip felt rather fat, and I was very a wear of the ring touching my teeth. I had a small about of bleeding, but apart from that it was fine. The piercer went over the after care, and told me to come back if I had a problem.No problem.I have got a flat ring as I wanted to minimise the risk of gum ression and irritation. I have got a fairly small ring in, as I didn't want anything to interfere with my food and thumb (yes I am 20 and still suck my thumb!)But it is very clear when i smile and talk.
I have had quite bad feedback from my scrumper. It is really not a common piercing in my town, and everyone freaked out when they saw it. My mother hates it, but then again my mother hates all of my piercing's. My boyfriend thinks it is ugly, and when I smiled in department store in my home town, the assistant screamed and nearly vomited.
This really does not bother me in the slightest – in fact it makes me love it even more!
