Hi my name is alyce and today is the 18th of February and I woke up with the itch of the piercing bug latching to my side. I needed a new piercing maybe a labret to accentuate my nostril, Monroe, eyebrow on my face and my other 14 piercings situated over my body.

I was going to do this today. It was only 7.45am and no sane shop would be open this early. So I have no choice but to wait.
Well I was planning on going to my usual place to get pierced, so I got ready and made an appointment for 10.30am, ten thirty came round and mum and I got into the car and drove down there. We walked in and signed the forms and I then asked for a 16 gauge labret stud. He looked inside the cabinet and found that he didn't have any left. I felt disappointed. So we decided that my mum and I would head up to cosmetic's plus and buy jewellery from there and come back to him for the piercing, we arrived at cosmetics plus and I asked a nice lady at the counter for the size jewellery I was after. They didn't have it either. So she went and got the piercer and I explained it all to her. the piercers name was Bree she came over and explained to me that they have several suppliers and none make labret studs over 10mm. I thought I needed that length because I had problems with my Monroe. Bree then informed me that a labret swells nothing like a Monroe. She then said that they do piercin gs for thirty dollars and they would use a 10mm stud. To be truthful I was hesitant from all the bad rumors I have herd and read about this place. I was no stranger to the shop I visit it nearly every week to by jewellery.
She explained everything to me and I felt really comfortable with her, so I decided to go for it and give them a go, but I wanted her to do it. I signed all the paper work and waited for the girl before me get her navel done. I waited outside the closed door and the next minute I heard the girl scream. Well that shook me up a little. About five minutes later the girl came out with a bandage taped over her navel smiling. Then bree called me in after she cleaned up to take a seat. She adjusted the bed thing so I was sitting upright. She unpackaged the needle clamp and jewellery. Then she wiped my lower lip down with alcohol prep and then placed a dot where I wanted it to go. We got it centered and so on. Then she asked if I wanted to close my eyes, so I closed them I always do. then she clamped my lip and adjusted it a few times. The clamps didn't hurt at all. Then she lent over to retrieve the needle and then asked if I was ready to go. I mumbled yep and then all I felt was t his little bee sting like feeling and that was it. I swear to god it was so painless, that it is so close to topping my most painless piercing list. I mumbled is that it and she said yep. I was like holy shit. That was awesome. She then tightened the jewellery and then said all done. She then handed me a little mirror and a aftercare sheet I was so pleased with the job she had done I couldn't stop thanking her I so wanted to hug but shaked her hand instead. she is so awesome I am defiantly heading back there im so converted. They only complaint I had was the ball was big but she said it needed to be that big so if I swell it won't slip into the hole. And I understand that and im happy with that. Im going back in a week or so to get the ball changed and to get a new ball on my eyebrow barbell.
I was in a little discomfort that only lasted an hour and now all im left with is a little tightness that's it.
I guess you could say that I am pretty close to being pretty modified with 18 current piercings and 3 retired ones and I can tell you all the shit you hear about cosmetics plus and stuff are so not true they are very professional, friendly (especially bree), they are all understanding, and sanitized piercers, and I am converted to them now. I will never think about going else were. Don't listen to rumors. Go there and see for yourself. I know you will be as pleased as much as I am.
