Okay, I think I'll bore everyone with the pre-piercing information!**EVIL LAUGH** I've been harassing my mother to let me get a piercing since I was ten. It started with a bellybutton ring. But my mother said no. She couldnt stand the the thought of letting her "little girl" get a piercing. (By the way when I was ten I looked 14)

By the time I was eleven I had three sets of piercings in my lobes and my cartilage pierced once on the left side. By this time my father was going ape shit and said that I could no longer get anymore piercings until I was eightteen. Yeah, right like I was going to let that happen. Well over the next couple years I drove my mother insane with requests and demands for a tongue ring, lip ring, eyebrow ring, nose ring, and belly button ring. I had also begun researching piercings and tatoos. I (thankfully) found BME and was delighted to find such a wonderful place of piercing knowledge.

By this time to my parents dismay and my two sisters digust (i imensly enjoy grossing them out) I had gauged my ears to a 6g. Anyways by the last few weeks before my 14th birthday I had finally driven my mother completely insane. I she said I could get my bellybutton pierced. She chose this piercing because facial piercings are not permitted at my extremely strict and unreasonable school. But before we went for the peircing, I for certain reasons become homeschooled. I then proceeded to ask if I could get either my nose or lip pierced. My mom agreed reluctantly. I chose my lip as the victim. I was going to pierce the right side with a 16g CBR ring. A week before the peircing my mom decided I could not get my lip pierced for fear of it damaging my teeth.

Grrr..I was furious. I then demanded what she thought I should get pierced. She looked at me a minute and then said..."Why don't you get your eyebrow pierced?" My jaw dropped in utter shock! I had begged my mother to let me get an eyebrow ring for a year straight. But she had always said no, complaning that it was too manly and looked disgusting. The fact that she was actually suggesting I get it...well that almost caused me to have a heart attack. I think my heart may have actually stopped for a minute. I asked if she was serious and she told me that she always was. I quickly and gleefully agreed.

The days until that Satureday seemed to past so.o.o.o.o.o.o slowly! But during that time I talked to my sexy friend who had his eyebrow pierced. Hmmm..lets call him Chad. "Chad" told me his was painless and not to worry. My other friend..lets call her Bev told me it hurt but no too bad. Several other people told me it would hurt enough to make me cry. On BME I found mixed responses to the amount of pain it caused.

Saturday FINALLY arrived and I was bouncing off the walls with nerves and excitment. I got up took a shower and proceeded to wake everyone else in the house up. My sister and mom both were coming with me.On the way to Extreme Expressions we stopped and ate at McDonalds to keep my blood sugar up. After eating my sister tried to convince me to get a "normal girly" piercing. She soon stopped after I just stared at her. I think she was scared I was going to harm her(I will admit the thought had crossed my mind). I then proceeded to blare Marylin Mansons CD on the rest of the car ride.

We arrived at a comfortable looking houselike building which was the shop. I jumped out of the car and began to get nervous. We walked into the shop and a woman working in the front immediatly asked if she could help us with anything. I replied calmly that I wanted to get my eyebrow pierced. She looked at me and smiled, then began to show me curved barbells. She offered to show me the rings but I kindly declined the offer. I had never been fond of how rings looked. I instead eyed a 16g bluish curved barbell. My mother gave me a look and I instead picked a silver one. My mom wanted me to get an 18g barbell but my sister and I both agreed the 16g would look better and we outnumbered her so she gave in. My mom paid the $30 and I waited. As I was waiting for Neal to finish cleaning the jewelry I listened and slightly participated in the conversation on Nose rings Neals wife and my mom were having. They then managed to bring up nipple rings. I managed to also look through the piercing and tatoo portfolio with my sister.

Finally, Neal told me to come back. I went and sat in the dentist like chair and began to get even more nervous. I wasn't really worried about having the piercing done..I was more nervous about how it would feel later on that day. He cleaned my eyebrow with special wipes. He then proceeded to mark and clamp it. Clamps by the way do not hurt in the least. I then watched him open the needle's bag. He laughed at me because I demanded to see "what was about to be shoved through my eyebrow" and said that most people didn't like to see the needle. I then closed my eyes and grabbed my sisters hand and squeezed it because of my nerves. My mom then left to go smoke a cigarette. I then began to brace myself for immense pain.

He told me he was ready to push the needle through and I felt him put the needle up against my skin and I waited. I broke into a sweat as I waited fearing the immense pain I was told about. Then all of a sudden Neal told me he was done. I dared to open one eye as I exclaimed, "You're not done!" But he had been telling the truth and I had a lovely new piece of shiny metal through my eyebrow and a smile that wouldn't go away.

When we left I could swear I was almost skipping with joy. I was one of the happiest people that whole day. Its been about 3 months since having my eyebrow pierced. I have no swelling and I didn't have much initially. The piercing never became infected and I've had not one single problem since getting it. I love my piercing and wouldn't give it up for anything. If you want this piercing I say go for it! Its painless and easy enough to take care of.

Well good luck and merry piercings!I would also recomend Extreme Expressions to anyone!
