To anybody who wants an eyebrow ring I would say go for it but be careful out of the piercings I have so far I loved my eye brow ring the most. i will tell you the story o my eyebrow ring about how I got it in March 2003 and lost it by September of that year. So I guess i will start at the beginning so here:

The guy was so nice and made the whole process seem simple. I thought it looked totally awesome. I decided I had to have that done. After four years of begging and pleading to get my eyebrow pierced, my mother finally caved as part of my 17th birthday present. My father of course threw a total conniption. He could not believe his little girl wanted to get her body mutilated in his opinion. In his opinion tattoos and body piercings outside of the ears were turning your body into a pin cushion or just mutilating it to the point where it can never be fixed. But my mother stood by my side. I couldn't believe I was finally going to get my first real piercing. We got everything notarized over by her job since I wasn't eighteen years old yet I needed her to be there. So we agreed the next weekend we would go down to the tattoo parlor and get it done. I counted down the days, I was so excited.
By the time we got down to the tattoo parlor that saturday I half jumped in the door. It was really really busy, so my mother, sister, and I sat on a couch and read magazines and waited. We waited like a half an hour, it felt like five minutes, it flew by. When Sharpie finally got around to getting me and us paying the forty dollars, I was getting a tad bit nervous. By the time I actually got back to where I was going to get it done I was so nervous. I thought it would hurt so bad. I was prepared to scream my head off. I saw all the needles and antiseptic and almost totally backed out. But Sharpie was totally amazing and prepared everything and then he talked to me about the whole procedure. So he then took out a marker and marked the spot where I would get the holes. He took out the needle and told me to count to three. So I closed my eyes and counted to three. Of course by two I felt like a little pain as the needle went through my skin and then no pain whatsoever. Next thing I know boom he is sticking the ring in asking me what color bead I want. I of course chose the blue one. So he closed it up and swabbed off the little drop of blood. He then sat down and described the after care and handed me a whole bunch of sheets on how to clean it and what to clean it with and how long til I can change the ring. We then left and got Mcdonalds, since it was dinner time.
I was so stoked. I could not wait to go home and show every single person I knew. It never really hurt during the healing. I love the place I got it done that I also got my naval pierced a year later and am getting my first tattoo and lip ring there in december. I can't wait.
Last summer unfortunately I lost it. I was riding the log flume ride at my job. I was being stupid and stood up to soon or waited for too long. I do not remember which but the next thing I do remember was very painful. I stood up and bashed my head into a metal bar. I did not think anything of it until I got some weird looks from total strangers. But being me I figured it was the piercing or the hair color, which was black and fire engine red at the time so I ignored it. SO my friends and I kept on walking until I saw something red coming down. I ran to the bathroom and started screaming. It turns out I ripped my eyebrow ring partly out. I decided at that point to take it out and let it heal and pierce it in like a couple of months. I still haven't redone it but I hope to do it soon. Except this time I have to get my right eyebrow pierced since my left one has a little mini scar and I do not want to draw any more attention to it.
