Alright, it all started with me getting my left ear pierced, which soon moved to right and now I have a total of 4 piercings in each ear lobe. This is when I started becoming interested in body modification. About a year later I got my lip pierced and then 4 months later (now) I got my left eyebrow pierced twice. I began wanting this piercing about 6 or 7 months ago but didn't plan on getting it anytime soon.

It took me a while to be able to do this, after I got my lip pierced my mom began to not care what piercings I got. My birthday came and I originally planned to get one eyebrow piercing and an industrial but I changed my mind for certain reasons. I decided I would get 2 instead of one. I saw someone with the same thing but on the right side, I liked how it looked but wanted to do it a little bit differently. I decided I would get it on the left side. It wasn't much different (just the opposite side.)

I convinced my mother to let me do it finally. Which surprisingly didn't take much time. A week earlier I decided I'd make the appointment for my birthday, which was on November 12th. My girlfriend wanted to watch it being pierced. So I was like sure, what the hell. Friday came and we went into the shop at 12. I told Angella which side I wanted it done on. My girlfriend wasn't allowed to watch, which didn't bother me. She asked which gauge I wanted to use. I chose 16 because it's what is most commonly used for eyebrow piercings. We went into the piercing room, where I took off my glasses. She cleaned the area of my eyebrow that was going to be pierced. I asked if it could be done with a curved barbell, she said no because they reject easily. So if anyone wants to get their eyebrow pierced....decide to use a CBR, they get caught on things I know but, you cant clean a curved barbell piercing properly. I also asked if there is a less chance of rejecting if I take good care of it, she told me it shouldn't reject if I take care of it. She marked the spot that was going to be pierced and asked if it looked like a good spot, I said yeah. She took out the package that the needle was in and showed me that it was sterile. She explained to me that she was now going to clamp it, and said that, this is probably the worse part of the piercing. It wasn't that bad, she was right it was the most uncomfortable part. She then told me to close my eyes and take a deep breath, once I took the deep breath she pushed the needle through my eyebrow, it didn't hurt that much, less then my lip piercing. She then put the CBR on and attached the ball to it. She asked if I wanted to wait a few minutes before doing the 2nd one, I said yes and waited only like 2 minutes. I closed my eyes again and took the deep breath, she pushed the needle through, put the CBR on and attached the ball to it, and it was done. The 2nd one hurt a little bit more, which most likely was because it was right next to the first one.

I looked in the mirror and it looked great. The cleaning was then explained to me, I have to use sea salt soaks 3 times a day and remove any crust I find, after the crust is removed I have to turn it to get the sea salt inside of it. I also need to wash my face with dial soap. So far it is healing very well and shows no signs of rejection. I also can't change the jewelry for 4 to 6 weeks.

The turning part of the cleaning process hurts for about the first week, but it doesn't hurt enough to say so. It also is painful to sleep on before a little while. After that, cleaning is a breeze.

Afterwards I said thanks, and paid for it. I left and went to the mall with my girlfriend where we saw a movie. I asked her if she liked them and said yes. Except when I had my hood up, she said I looked like a mugger. That was pretty funny though. I would recommend this piercing to anyone who is planning on it, but take care of it so it won't reject or get infected. After it heals I plan on putting in 2 spiked curved barbells, I just need to buy a 2nd one...I already have one.

Anyways I love my new eyebrow piercings, they are great. Alright I have to go clean them now. Catch you guys later.
