Hey people, I would first like to say that I have tried to read all of the stories in this category, and I like them all; even the disturbing ones. Yea, I decided to add my own story to the list. I also want to say that I never read any material or did any research before I got mine done, I had wanted it for so long, that when I finally had the chance to get it, I decided to just go for it. But it's not like anything is wrong with me, I just feel like maybe I should have been a little more informed before I got it done. Also, I should point out that, the left and right side association with gay and straight, that I mention later in my experience, is not necessarily true, it is just something people believe at the piercing place that I went to.

Okay, so on July 13 I started my first job ever, and I was excited, it turned out to be a real crappy job in an office that I can't stand too much, but I was happy to get paid-- even if it was minimum wage. I started hanging out with new people, who were all started going crazy with piercings because the place they go to is having a "summer sale," so they are trying to get as much as possible done, before the five dollars was added back on. So they went almost every week, bringing friends with them, and doing one ear, or a bellybutton, nothing serious. I loved it, because I think piercings are hot. Just not too much, because that can start looking kind of gross. So I found out that I was going to get paid on Friday the 30 of July, and I decided I wanted to join my friends and get pierced. Of course, my first choice was my eyebrow, I also decided to get my left and right tragus, and the top of both ears pierced. By the time I got to the place, I also agreed to get my bellybutton done, but that's another story. My friends were all excited to go yet another time, and I was so happy it was finally getting done. My parents were against it, and one of my friends was too, but I was buying it with my money, so I didn't really care too much. My mom knew I was going to do it, and she joked about it looking gross, but she had already began to accept it. Plus I loved it, and that's all that really mattered.
So the day arrived, I couldn't sleep the night before, I was so anxious and nervous and excited, and kind of scared. I ended up waking up super early, and watching television until it was time for me to leave. So I got to school, I had my money, and I sat through class, really ready to go and get this done. We finally got to the place and this really nice woman greeted us, and said the place wasn't open yet, and to come back around 12(pm) because she was sterilizing the materials, and she didn't want anyone to get sick. So we said all right, and went to get something to eat, and talked about stuff, and came back, but someone was already in there, so we decided to go next door to see the jewelry we could buy after it heals. We ended up chatting with the guy behind the desk, and when we got back it was my turn to get pierced.
The piercing place itself was an open area that was dark, had black lights and pictures of tattoos all over the walls, and blasted Linkin Park music. It was cool, she took me and my friends to a room, which actually had light and asked me what I wanted to get done while she began unwrapping needles and clamps, and putting them in A&D. I told her and after she did my bellybutton, she asked me which eyebrow I wanted done, I said my right, so she replied that left is straight, and right is gay or bisexual, so I said yea I still want my right one, so my friends were kind of like well, do the left, you aren't gay right, so I had to tell them that yea I am bisexual,
(and so they were all okay with it), so she cleaned off my eyebrow and took out a marker and put some dots on my face, all my friends checked out the dots, she kind of messed up the first time, but she did it again and they all said they were fine. So then she placed the clamp around the area, and we were all talking at this point, just joking around, because everyone knew this woman, and she was very nice, funny and personable. So then she pushed the needle through, and at first all I felt was the inside of my eyebrow kind of being moved around which didn't hurt, but was very weird, then she placed a barbell in there (no one discussed sizes with me), I bled a little, and it got a little swollen, but nothing really noticeable, and I was so happy. She finished the rest of my piercings, I paid her and then left.
I love my new piercings, especially my eyebrow, I think it is beautiful, and I don't want to sound conceited, but I think it looks great on me. At first I cleaned it with A&D, but then I began using Bacitracin on Tuesday (4 days later), because I woke up and I looked like I had a black eye, which was not good...but today was the best day so far, no pain, no swollen-ness, no redness, it's just perfect! I have already bought two new eyebrow rings, (I like barbells) and I can't wait to change them! I think everyone who wants to get their eyebrow pierced, should. I think it looks great on everyone, but especially people with nice colored eyes (I have light hazel) because you draw attention that way. Happy piercing people! Have fun, and feel free to email me if you ever want to talk. Okay bye for now!
