Hello, this is how my experience started, about a month ago I asked my parents if I could a facial piercing and they said "which one?" i replied "my eyebrow" and they told me they would think about it. So, I started my research on aftercare, types of eyebrow jewelry, the procedure, and most importantly the risks. I found some great information on BME as well as other web sites.

I also found the studio where I was hoping to get pierced and my parents ended up saying yes to the idea which made me one very happy teenager! So, I waited about two weeks until my aunt and uncle could take us to the studio because had no clue where we were going. When the day finally came I had a few things to do before we left I had to go to the doctor and my mom had to pay a few bills first. I at this time was bouncing off the walls. This now brings me to the first piercing attempt.

We walked in and I was very nervous. I had called a few days ahead of time to see what I was going to need for identification they said and I quote "just a picture identification." I had all of

that with me and I filled out all of the required paperwork and my mom had signed it I was ready to go. Then I guess you could say I hit a brick wall and I hit it hard! The guy at the front counter said I needed proof of my birth date and I did not have that with me so, my mom said we would come back the following week. So we left with me wanting to break something!

So, a week later I made sure I had everything ready to go and we headed off again. time for round two, We entered the studio I was more determined than I had ever been to get this done. I filled out the paperwork and had all of the proper information there this time and my mom signed and I was ready to be pierced.

The journey then began my piercer named Collin came out for the back and said "are you the girl who wants her eyebrow pierced?" I replied "yes" (he was also very cute!) so I followed him back and said I could bring back whoever I wanted. My mom was too scared so, my uncle came with me. I then sat in the dentist like chair and Collin had me pick out my ball for my CBR (captive bead ring) I chose a light blue one and the he put on a clean pair of rubber gloves and asked me which side I wanted done I said "my left" he then swung the chair around (that was fun!) He then asked if I was ready for this adventure I replied "as ready as I am ever going to be." He then put on the clamps which I couldn't even feel then he said "on the count of 3, 1..2..3" and the needle was through and it was not that bad at all it just felt like a small pinch.

He then threaded the ring through and I was bleeding a lot it soon stopped, but ask for me I had passed out for about 20 seconds I was ok though just not enough sugar in my body at the time is all. He then put the ball on and the explained the aftercare to me.

I have to clean it 3 times a day with a mild soap I don't recommend Dial because it is to harsh for piercings. So, I use Johnson's baby wash and it is all really easy to do and also remember not to touch it with unclean hands too. It is all pretty easy to do.

He then gave me some paper towel in case it started bleeding again and he set me free and I had my mom pay and we left. I ended up tipping him five dollars too.

I love my new piercing it has become a part on me and everyone who has seen it in my family likes it too. I say if you are planning on getting the piercing or even just considering it I say go for it! It is not painful at all. It is easy to take care of and it looks really cool!

Here are some piercing adventure tips

1. Don't touch your new piercing.

2. Listen to your piercer they know what they are talking about.

3. Do plenty of research on risks, aftercare, studio's in your area, procedure this will help you in the long run.
