Just recently, I got my eyebrow pierced, and I love it. This was not my first piercing, however it was the most painful one. In all, I got pierced my naval, tung, nose, eyebrow, and my nipple. Although, I do not have my nose, naval and nipple ring anymore. I also have my ears pierced 6 times, all which are stretched to 14g, 16g and 4g. Which proves, that I can tolerate piercings.
Almost a month ago, I had gotten my eyebrow done. You hear from everyone that it does not hurt that much to get it pierced, but I was soon to find out that it hurt quite a bit.
This is how it all began...
I walked in the piercing parlor with my friends, and we took a seat. We got up to go see at some body jewelry, to try and figure out what I wanted to go get pierced. I was thinking of either getting my eyebrow done, or my belly button again. We sat down to think about it for a while, and then we decided that I should get my eyebrow done. We told the piercer that I wanted to get my eyebrow pierced, so he made us sign this form, asking us what was my name, address, age etc... After I filled it out, it was time for payment. He told me that it would cost me 57$ with tax. So I gave him my interact card, pushed in some numbers, and that was it. It was now time to go in the piercing room.
As we walked in the room, he told me to take a seat, so I did. He asked my to take my coat off, so that I would be more comfortable. As I did, he began preparing for the piercing that I was about to get. I laid down on the chair. I was looking at my friends, and they were telling me not to worry, so I didn't. I trusted my piercer. Anyways, he showed me all the instruments that he was going to use during this procedure. They were nothing new to me though, because I have had more than one piercing at that location, so I was used to the routine. He showed us that everything was sterilized, and then he told us that it was time.
I took a deep breath, because I was quite nervous. (I have a huge fear of needles, but I love piercings, go figure..) Ok, this was it, time to get my eyebrow pierced once and for all. I had been waiting to get it pierced, ever since a couple years ago. I was really excited, yet anxious. So anyways, he disinfected the area, and then he marked where the barbell was going to go through with a blue pen. He told me to go check if it was in the right spot, so I got up and went to go look in the mirror. I thought that it was at the right spot, but I asked my friends about it, just to make sure, because I did not want to be pierced in the wrong spot. They said that it looked fine, so I went to go sit back down on the chair.
This was it, time to pierce! At this moment, I was really getting anxious, but I tried not to show it. He told me to lie down on my back, so that I would be more comfortable. I did. He put the clamps on me, and I thought that they hurt like hell! NOW I was really getting anxious. I thought to myself: "If the clamps hurt this much, think about how much the actual piercing is going to hurt..!" I closed my eyes. He told me to take a deep breath, so I did. BANG! The needle went through my skin. I let out a scream. He told me that he only had to put the barbell though, and that he would be done. He put the barbell in, and then he screwed on the balls, which was then part of my eyebrow ring. It was now over.
It was over. I got up to go take a look of my cool new piercing in the mirror. I thought that it looked really hot on me. Although, I asked my friends what were their opinions on it. They said that it looked really good.
This is now a month later since I got my eyebrow pierced. It's looked really good, no infections. I am really glad that I got this done. I would definitely get this done again, even if it was the most painful pierced that I ever gotten.
