On my 18th Birthday I couldn't get my eyebrow done like I planned cause my birthday was on a holiday ( Thanksgiving ) and the only thing open was Wal-mart where I got my 16th ear piercing ( I have 20 now ) So I chose to get my eyebrow dome the next day down at Spectrum where I was already aquainted with one of the piercers there. His name was Jarvie and I felt really comfortable with him as my piercer on all of the piercings I planned on getting done and redone. My sister ( she's 11 ) was staying the night with me and I couldn't help telling her about it and she was excited too. Well she couldn't come with me because she had to go home early that morning but she got to see it not that long ago and she likes it. But not as much as I do.

Me and my grandma drove down to Spectrum after and she waited in the waiting room on me while I filled out all of the forms and got my stuff ready to go to the back of the room to get the equipment ready. I swear those guys have probably made a fortune off of me by now cause since then I've had 4 more piercings done there and 2 or 3 more to go. The nose, navel, tongue, and labret were done there also.
I followed Jarvie to the back of the room and got a little nervous because it was the first piercing I've ever had done professionally. And those procedures really sucked. But I felt alright with this guy so I calmed down after that thought. I sat on the bench and watched him get all of the equipment out. I chose the barbell for my jewelry cause I think the eyebrow ring looks gay and would catch on to everything. Then Jarvie turned toward me and marked my eyebrow with his purple ink.
I turned to the mirror and saw where it was marked and cocked a smile because I liked where it was. I turned back to Jarvie as he was walking toward me with the needle and closed my eyes. That's what I do on every piercing because it just makes it easier for me I don't know why cause I have a high tolerance of pain. I love to close my eyes and focus on the needle going through and I love the feeling of it too. Don't ask me why.
I felt the needle go through the bottom part of my eyebrow and all it felt like was a big pinch. Then felt the jewelry go through and all that felt like was a bigger pinch and then it was over. Then Jarvie told me he was screwing on the ball tight and before I knew it it was done. Then I opened my eyes and walked over to the mirror to get a better look. I looked in the mirror and cocked another smile loving the way it looked on me. The silver barbells were really pretty and very noticeable but not too dramatic. Then he gave me the sea salt and told me how to take care of the piercing and we started to walk back to the front of the studio.
I walked out of the back room and my grandma got a good look and I think she liked it. Then when we got in the car she laughed at the thought of what my mom would do when she saw it ( she hasn't yet til this day cause I really hate her for many reasons ) I remember looking at it everywhere I went cause of how pretty it looked and still does. My fiance had 2 in his right eyebrow and one in his left eyebrow, and I forgot to mention that I had mine done in my right eyebrow too. My nose is on the left side along with my tongue, and labret done in the center.
To anyone who wants their eyebrow done GO FOR IT !! I love mine and in my opinion even though the ring's easier to clean and take care of it can be really catchy and the barbell looks a lot better and I've never had any trouble cleaning it. It looks great. It's a very appealing piercing to me. It's almost completely painless and worth the price by far. Seriously you won't regret it. I can promise you that. Just watch taking off your clothes and putting them on. And washing and drying your face. Other than that I recommend this piercing to anybody. Just do it professionally please. I love this piercing and I think you will too if you decide on it.
