I had just turned 18 years old on July 8th of 2003. I wasn't expecting anything special for my birthday, I mean who really cares, you're getting old. All I have ever had pierced in my life was my ears when I was about 4 years old. And my cartilage once at the age of 16 years old, which I let heal.

We were sitting around talking, my two friends and I, and I was like, "Holy Hell! I am 18, I can get anything pierced that I want to! I really would like to get my eyebrow pierced. I have wanted to since I have been 14 years old" Big whoop, they didn't seem to excited. Give me a break guys, it's my birthday! I can get excited if I want to! So I went about my day, and went to bed that night.
The next morning, July 9th, my room mate woke me up and said get ready, we have somewhere to go right now. So I got my happy ass out of bed and got dressed. We drove to Wooster, I was like, what the hell are we doing down here. We parked, and walked into this place called Moving Pictures. It was an OK place. I thought my friend was getting another tattoo. I mean, she already had two, and wanted to et another one, and that is where she gets her stuff done. But was I surprised when I was getting my eyebrow pierced. It was my birthday present from her. Nice preset huh? Body modifications.
So I searched for which eyebrow ring I wanted, which took me about 15 minutes because I am so damn picky all the time. I took a curled loop. Not a bad choice. The piercer, Rob, was madly hot. So I acted all tough and everything, when I was a little nervous to be honest. Like I wanted this hot guy to think I was scared! Rob cleaned the ring, had me sit down, cleaned my right eyebrow, and made the markings for the needle. I looked at my naked face one more time. He told me to close me eyes, and that I would feel a pinch for a second. I closed my eyes, and prepared for pain. Then he said, "All done." I didn't even feel the needle go through my eyebrow, and I looked pretty bad ass with my curled loop.
My friend paid for piercing, and we walked outside and got in the car. About five seconds into sitting down in the car, my friend exlaimed that she wanted hers done. We sat in her car for about ten minutes talking about whether she wanted it done or not. She decided if it looked that cool on me, that it would look cool on her too. We got out of her car, walked right back in, and got her eyebrow pierced. Ha, I'm such a good influence on my Christian friends, can't you tell? Considering that two of my other friends got there belly buttons pierced shortly afterwards because they said if mine didn't hurt theres wouldn't, I would say I'm a GREAT influence on my Christian friends! Hehe... riiiight.
I have about numerous different kinds of eyebrow rings right now, but unfortunately I can not wear most of them, because I have down gauged my eyebrow to a 10 gauge. Probably not the smartest idea, but who cares, it looks bad ass! Now if only I could find clear retainers that are 10 gauge... if anyone knows where to get them.. let me know please!
I, at this point, am planning on going this week to get my tongue pierced, and when I have more money, and also getting two more eyebrow rings on my right eyebrow to complete the look I am going for, as well as a lip ring on the left side of my lip. I'm sure it will fit nicely with my two tattoos that I have. I don't care how unprofessional I look, piercings are what I like and what I am going ot do regardless of what anyone says.
I am addicted to the needle, needless to say. And if I ever get the courage, I would like to get my nipples pierced, but I have heard that hurts pretty bad. But, what can you do? Pain for pleasure, right/
Thus ending my piercing adventure. I can garuntee you there will be more stories from me later on. After I get my tongue pierced, and my eyebrow pierced two more times, and my lip, and who knows what else! Check back later, to see more from me!
