My first real piercing was my bridge. I've wanted it for so long, I knew my parents wouldn't accept it, so I didn't even ask. I was fifteen years old when my friend did it. He's a piercer who used to work at this place called Puncture. He got fired I suppose, but he would always do my friends' piercings. So I decided I'd ask him since he was a good friend of my friend. He only charged me about five bucks. He got everything really, the piercing needle, tissue incase it bled, and cleaned the needle. He put it up to my bridge and asked me if I was ready. Of course I was, I couldn't be anymore excited about it. Then he counted, "One.. Two.. Three.."

Shoved it through, I heard it pop and saw the second part come out because I had my eyes open. Nice, clean, didn't hurt. Bled a little but it wasn't a problem. He just put a fourteen gauged eyebrow barbell through it, with two sparkled balls on both sides. Didn't really like it, but didn't really care. I was more distracted that I actually got it done. When I got home, I went straight to bed hoping my parents wouldn't bother me. The next day I hid it with a band-aid. My mother asked me why the band-aid was there, but I just told her it was a pimple I was trying to hide. While walking to my girlfriend's house in the morning, I took off the band-aid. My mother pulled up and I tried to hide it with my hand. I had no choice. I showed her and she was so pissed, she yelled at me to take it out in the middle of a busy street. I just told her that I went through with it and I paid for it. So I was keeping it.

She went off to work and I went to school. People at my school didn't believe I had it pierced, so I pushed in one side so they could see it come out the other. Then they would be like, "Ugh, that's so nasty!" Well, after school, she had me show my "father". He was pissed as well, they told me that I was grounded until it came out. I kept it in for a good two months just to show them that I could put up a fight. I loved it, the way it felt, the way it looked, and just everything about it. After all that, I couldn't stand being grounded much longer.

Well, I just recently did it again in my friend's bathroom. I was bored, piercing another hole in my ear with a sewing needle when I decided to pierce my bridge again. It came out kind of crooked, but it's cool. While I was in night school, I pulled out the sewing needle and tried to put in a fourteen gauged eyebrow barbell. It wouldn't go in because the needle was about a sixteen gauge, until you got to the backside. So I tried to put the needle back in, but I couldn't find the exit wound. So I had to re-pierce the outside. After that, I just stretched it to the back part. Which is at least a twelve gauge. Then pulled it out and got the fourteen gauge in. I had an eyebrow retainer, so I thought I'd try to use that to cover up the piercing from my mother.

While I was with my friend at the park, before I went home. I decided I'd try to put the retainer in to see if it'd make a difference. Not much of one, but it kind of worked. Besides seeing the two red marks where it was sore and bleeding. I just went on the computer as usual and kept the light off. She walked by every now and then to get things out of her file drawer. But she didn't notice. I didn't think I should keep it since it was so hard to hide and it was all ready getting sore from changing the barbell so many time. Also when I pierced it the second time, I got it out a little crooked. So that kind of sucked. It was very hard for me, but I finally just took it out.

The next day, my mother noticed that I had two holes where I used to have it pierced. She asked me what it was, I just told her I've been picking at my nose, but I know she knew that I really pierced it. She didn't really say anything though, because it was out and I'm sure she didn't care. I think the bridge piercing is a very un-painful, fun, and exciting experience to have for your first piercing.
