First I would like to say that I have wanted an eyebrow piercing for quite some time maybe for 2 years? Anyway I am 13 almost 14 and I finally got my first major piercing. Lets start this off by saying I don't have the most wonderful life, my parents are split up and a lot of shit has happened to me those past 2 years. My life has been a roller coaster and it is a constant battle, I keep falling down and each time I do it is harder to get up. I am going to tell you a little bit about my personal life before I get onto the actually piercing story. Now this is in no way meant to make anybody feel sorry for me, if you don't want to read it then don't nobody is forcing you to. Anyway last year I moved...I had to leave everything I had behind....friends, memories everything behind. Anyway when I first came here it was a nightmare I was different and everybody looked down on me and mad fun of me, I had no friends and I had no friends for the whole year, I was picked on I had problems at home and I had depression. Now you are wondering how a simple body piercing, help this troubled youth? The answer is: I don't know....actually I have no idea, but it did.

Finally the school year ended and I was free for awhile, the more I started to think about the piercing the more I wanted it and knew I had to get it. I knew it would look wonderful on me, and I didn't want it to be noticed or to think I'm "bad ass". I wanted it because it was me it was what I wanted as a person. I knew I would take care of that piercing and make it apart of me. That weekend I was at my dads place I knew it was time. I had been saving up for the piercing for quite some time and I picked out the cleanest location to get it done. The piercing itself was 50 dollars. I had been there before when I got my ears done, and it was a nice place, so that day I made an appointment for the next day at noon. As soon as I made the appointment I called my friend up and told her the good news I ended up staying at her house for the night. The next morning I was so excited my friend had to keep me from jumping off walls. Anyway her dad drove us back to my place my friend was coming along with my dad and me to get the piercing done. We went in the car my heart was beating so hard it was like it was going to pound out of my chest. We entered the shop and I recognized the guy from last time, he also recognized me. My dad signed some papers and I brought my friend along in the back with me. I sat on the chair while he used a marker to mark where my piercing was going to be, he told me to look in the mirror. I looked back and the dot and nodded it was in the perfect spot. I sat back down on the chair he told my friend that she had to look the other say while he was dong the procedure. He told me to relax and I did. I didn't close my eyes nor did I think about the pain that may lie ahead, I was nervous but how many people wouldn't be if they knew a needle was about to be shoved in your eyebrow? Moving on, he clamped my eyebrow down applied something to it and then shoved me needle through, some people may say it hurt while others think otherwise, but honestly it did not hurt....It felt like a hard pinch and then he put t he ring in and put the ball on. I stepped off and checked at my new piercing I absolutely loved it. I grinned at my friend who thought it looked awesome on me. I turned back around and he told me how to clean it etc. We then went out and my dad thought it looked great on me. We paid and left, my dad dropped us off at the mall and it felt like everyone was looking at me because I had a piercing...weird or maybe it was just me in general. Anyway it started to throb with pain so I called my dad to pick us up.

We went back home and I admired myself in the mirror for over a half an hour finally me and my friend started watching our horror movies....it was around 2 am so we decided to get to bed. I cleaned the piercing and lay down...at first it was hard to find a nice position to sleep and when anything touched it, it ached. I finally fell asleep and when I woke up in the morning I was horrified at what I saw, I had crusties all around the ring, I had to pick them off with my nails. Anyway over the past week it stopped aching and I didn't have any crusties. I started to be able to sleep on whatever side I preferred and it didn't hurt or bother me. School finally starts up and I walk there with a eyebrow piercing, now natural kids start asking "Is that real?" and I respond with the sarcastic "No its fake." And then came, the worst questions of all "Oh my god, Jaimie did that hurt?" Finally they stopped asking annoying questions. I guess they did that because I am the only kid in the sc hool with something pierced besides their ears.

It was now over a month and I still loved my piercing more then anything...but one day I was holding my kitten and she tends to be a bit nippy. I was sitting down and she was in my lap suddenly she leaped up and bit me, right beside my piercing....it started to puss and started to bled. My mom had a fit, saying I had to get rid of it. I cleaned it up and that was it. I still have my piercing and it is my favorite out of all the ones I have. I do recommend this piercing to people who are willing to get it done. If you have any questions you can aim me at-child wit rabies
