Although a good portion of my family will not associate with me anymore I decided that after having my labret pierced I just couldn't wait to get something else done. There is just something about getting pierced; those of you with them know what I mean. That's why you should think long and hard before getting something pierced, because it does, sadly change the way people think about you. It was just a matter of determining what I wanted to get pierced. After careful thought and research I decided to go cliché and get the eyebrow. Well to be honest I really wanted something else, but I was all scared so I decided to go with something easier first

The studio was never a question. I was very pleased with Piercology the first time and never gave it a second thought about going there for everything else. Even though I was still pretty nervous about the whole ordeal. The studio is very professional and very clean. They do their best to calm you down and take all sorts of precautions to make sure each piercing experience is a pleasant one. I recommend them to anyone near the Columbus area who wants a piercing. So I got my money and just had to convince my mom to drive me up there. She agreed, because she is real cool and does not think bad things about people with piercings. So we went and my brother decided that he wanted his done too, so she had to go in to sign forms and stuff because he is a minor.

We go up into the studio and I tell them I want my eyebrow done and the counter lady, Michelle, goes over the aftercare and everything. I then had to pick out my jewelry I chose a ring instead of a barbell although the barbells are easier to deal with and do not get stuck on things like CBRs do. I picked out a 16g CBR with a blue ball. I really wanted 14g but they do not usually go that low with eyebrows. After that Michelle told me to go sit down because it would be a few minutes. So I sit down and my mom takes care of all the stuff dealing with my brother and we wait.

Shortly after that Ryan comes out and calls us back. He asked who wanted to go first and my brother volunteered me because he's so kind. I was a little nervous, but not too much. So I sit on the table and Ryan said he would have to lay me down because he was short and it was easier for him that way. That was cool, because I was able to calm down a little. So he gets out the mirror and tells me to hold it while he got soap to clean the area. After that he told me to show him where I wanted it. I chose the far side of my right eyebrow, and he proceeded to clean it. Then he marked it and asked me if it looked okay, I said yes and he put the clamps on. He asked if they were too tight and they weren't so he told to do the breathing drill. While exhaling the second deep breath he pierced me. One of the good things about the experience was that Ryan talked me through the whole thing. He asked if I was nervous and stuff and kept making jokes to lighten the mood. It hurt a little, mo re than the labret but nothing too bad. It was over quickly, and Ryan had to hold some gauze on it because it bled a little. After that he pierced my brother and we were ready to go. He checked us both before we left to make sure everything was okay. He wanted to make sure that the bleeding was going to stop. That freaked me out a little, but it was cool that he wanted to be sure before he let me leave. He then gave us his card and told to call if we had any questions or anything. They are so great at Piercology. I left with that great little high that one gets from getting pierced.

My eyebrow is just another addition to my growing collection of body piercings. My brother only wanted that one. Me however, well I am going to be getting some more. My other eyebrow is next on the list, but after that the septum, then well, who knows And you can be sure to read some of those experiences here too! Anyone who had any questions or something can contact me. I will do my best to help you if I can. Do not hesitate to get in touch!
