Two days ago I got my eyebrow pierced and even though it's a pain in the ass when sleeping and getting dressed, I still love it

I don't need any piercing on my face getting infected, that and the fact that my mother would kill me.
After having to practically drag my mother out of the house (she wasn't against the piercing, in fact she has an eyebrow ring herself) I was finally on my way to get my eyebrow pierced! Already having my tongue, nose, belly button, and 8 piercings in my ear...I knew I could handle getting my eyebrow pierced. My first choice to get my eyebrow done at was H. O. D. tattoo and piercing, but after driving for a half hour and finding out their piercer was out of town, my mother suggested taking me to The Cowpoke. I had no problem with this because people I know have gotten successful piercings there. So to The Cowpoke we went.
When we walked in the door I started to get really anxious (as most people do before a piercing) The lady that pierced me (sorry, I forgot her name) came out and said "Hi, can I help you"? I told her that I wanted my eyebrow pierced and she asked my mother for ID Because I'm only 16, I needed parental permission. She got my mothers info, and asked me what sort of jewelry I wanted. She pulled out a small barbell, and a ring. I wanted the ring, rather than the barbell, due to swelling. She told me it would be $30 and told me to wait while she got everything set up. While she was setting up, I went to the restroom (just in case it did hurt a lot, I didn't want any accidents lol) After I got out she called me and my mother to a piercing room.
The room was VERY clean, and smelled like a hospital. I was used to it though because my mother is a nurse. She asked me to hang my purse on a hook, and to lay down on what looked like a hospital bed. She cleaned her hands, and out rubber gloves on. Everything that she used to pierce my was taken out of the package, right in front of me. She marked where she was going to pierce me, and after telling her that it was perfect, she put some iodine on my eyebrow.
Finally, I was ready to be pierced. She explained everything that she was doing. My Mom gave me her hand to squeeze, and the piercer said "I'm just lining the needle up, take a deep breath" I was surprised that she didn't use the clamps, because everyone that I knew had them on when they got pierced. Anyway, Within about 5 seconds the needle was through and the ring was in. She just had to make sure it was done right and she out the ball on my ring.
She told me for cleaning use Bactine twice a day, and make sure my hands were clean whenever doing this. Also, to clean away all the crusties that build on the ring. I'm not sure if I should use salt-solution, or antibacterial soap too. I'm thinking I will, because I didn't use the salt for my belly button, and it got REALLY infected.
I've only had my piercing for two days, and I've gotten a lot of reactions. Some people say I only got it for attention, I just tell them I don't need the attention, I already have 10 other piercings. The others say it looks really good, and it suites me.
So far, the most annoying part about the piercing is sleeping on it. Whenever any sort of pressure is on it, it kills. If your the type of person who can lay on one side, fall asleep, and stay like that the whole night, then you'll be fine. If you are a wrestles sleeper (like I am) then be expecting a lot of waking up during the night. I am still very pleased with it though. Right now, the ring looks kinda funny because its sticks out, due to the swelling. Any advice to people wanting their eyebrow pierced, I'd say go for it. Just make sure you clean it really good, and be very careful, because the smallest touch can irritate the pierced area. Also, if you don't have a lot of skin on your eyebrow area (like really tight skin) you might want to reconsider getting it pierced, because your body can reject the piercing and push it out, and you'll have a huge scar.
