Well I had gotten hurt the day I pierced my eyebrow again. By someone or something, I don't remember. And as usual when my feelings get hurt I do something messed up like cut something into my body. I felt different this time. I wanted to do something good for myself instead of putting another unwanted scar on my body.

I went to my dresser and got out all my little piercings supplies. I had in all about five 14 gauge hoops, two 16 gauge hoops, a few barbells for my tongue, and a few needles. None of the needles were piercing needles though, I had ran out. I went through all of them and figured I was going to pierce my left eyebrow again. So, I got one of the 16 gauge hoops and the only needle I felt comfortable with using was a safety pin. I got it all together and started my own little home-piercing-project.

I moved everything on my dresser so I would have room. Then I went to the bathroom a got some toilet paper just incase I had a mess up with it all. When I got back into my room, I laid everything out. I look at myself in the mirror and figured out where I wanted the next eyebrow ring to go. I wanted the piercing to be right on the arch of my eyebrow in front of the others I had but it was too far away from them and would be uneven, so I ended up marking a spot a little bit back from my arch, but it made no difference to me.

I got the needle and put it to my eyebrow and pressed slightly but it stung very bad, worse than the others had done. Then I sat for awhile and told my self it wold be over in a matter of seconds anyways. So with that thought, I got up and went back to my mirror, placed the needle on my markings again, and slide the needle in very quickly. Besides the lovely popping noises, it wasn't that bad. It hurt a little more than the other two I had done, but not much.

I looked and made sure I had done it right and in a nice spot and when I was confident with what I had done, I went over to my chair by my computer and lit a cigarette. As I smoked the cigarette I twirled the needle around making the hole looser. I sat there and smoked two or three cigarettes and I kept on twirling and twirling the needle. Finally I was ready to go and put the hoop in my eyebrow.

I walked back over to my dresser and looked into the mirror. My eyebrow hadn't really had time to get red or anything but it was stinging like hell. So I slowly pulled the needle out and a drop of blood ran from it. I grabbed the toilet paper and wiped it off, that was a bad mistake. When I did this, blood started pouring from my eyebrow. I wiped and wiped but it wouldn't stop coming out. So finally I sat there with the toilet paper on my eyebrow for a little while. I took it off and saw if the hoop would go in even the least little bit, it wouldn't. So I pierced it again in the same spot. But as before when I took the needle out it would bleed and bleed. So, I went through the process of piercing then bleeding about four times.

I had almost given up, this would be my last attempt. I took the needle out and the blood still came, but this time I said to hell with it. I grabbed the little hoop and stuck the tip into the top hole of the piercing. I had forgotten that the hole was straight and that the hoop was of course circular, and just tried to put it in. This was another bad mistake. I heard a lot of crunching and then noticed the other end of the hoop was nowhere near the exit hole of the piercing, instead it had somehow gotten into my eyelid. I got really scared. I pulled back just a little bit. I would try to find the exit hole but I couldn't. I thought it had maybe grown up so I would keep putting the needle in the end of the hole.

Finally I just grabbed my eyebrow as hard as I could and lined the end of the hoop with the hole and pushed as hard as I could, and pop, it went through. It was hurting like a bitch from all the struggling with it and all. I got the ball for the hoop and that also took me forever to put on.

When it was all over with, I looked in the mirror. I had blood on both sides of my face. It was going down my cheek and was all over my shirt and the floor. I guess it was an O.K. price to pay, piercing my eyebrow four or five different times, at least the piercing looked nice.

So, if you're going to pierce your eyebrow yourself, then don't use a safety pin, use something made for piercing, DUH!
