It all started with my brother getting pierced, he started with his eyebrow then he got his septum, then tongue , then labret. It started my whole fascination with piercing. Of course I wanted one done but being that I was only 12 at the time my choices were limited. The only thing I was able to get done were my ears and so far I have 4 holes in each ear all at a 14 g.

At the end of the six months my mom came up with the idea of my having a heart murmur which meant I was more prone to having an infection if I got something pierced.
So I just forgot about it for awhile until I turned fifteen and wanted it done really badly again. My mom wasn't keen on the whole oral piercing thing so the next best thing for me was getting my eyebrow done. After like 3 months of putting it off, my mom was all for it and took me to the doctor to get some antibiotics for before i got pierced, and because I acted mature and went to the doctor before I got it done my dad jumped on and agreed I could too.
I made an appointment with a friends mom who is just learning to pierce so she would only charge 25$. The only thing was that I was going to a friends house the night before but I figured it would be ok. I decided not to get my brother to drive me down because my mom was a little squeamish when it comes to piercing and my dad was busy, plus I needed someone to make sure she was nice and clean because I wasn't completely sure when it came to that type of thing. When my brother picked me up the next morning to go get it done I had about 2 or 3 hours of sleep and hadn't eaten yet, really, really, really bad idea. I strongly suggest you get pierced on a full stomach and don't stay up all night before.
When we got there she had everything laid out on her table and we were ready to go! She had laid out three barbells all different lengths and gauges, I picked a 14 g and one of the longer ones on the chance that it swelled. So she tossed the barbell in some alcohol just for a final rinse 9 she had already cleaned them all before I got there. Then she washed her hands, put on the gloves and then cleaned off my eyebrow and started to put the dots on the dots weren't quite in the place I wanted so she let me put the dots on where it should go, she clamped my eyebrow which did not hurt whatsoever and told me to take a few deep breaths. I was pretty nervous about it being my first real piercing and all but she told me I was doing pretty good so far.
After I was clamped she got the needle of it's package (new needle) and after about 3 deep breaths and me clenching my brother's hand a bit she pushed the needle through, it didn't hurt at all really, it just felt a little bit awkward and sounded odd. I'd describe the sound as putting a needle through thick plastic. After she got me a glass of water and told me I could sit down for a bit because I must have looked a little shaky or something. It felt kind of cool for the first ten minutes (everyone said it was because of the adrenaline rush your body gets when something is just pierced but I'm not sure) then it started to sting a bit but pretty much no pain.
We sat and chatted for what must have been about a half an hour. She was really nice and very helpful. She gave me a bag of salt to clean it with she said about three times a day, I paid her and I was off. This was all done yesterday morning and there's been no pain since, a little soreness when I cleaned it this morning but it's great and I love it. Now I want my nose done but I think I'll wait until this one is healed. I suggest anyone gets their eyebrow done and don't worry about the pain cause there is none.
