Well where should I start...

I wanted to get an eyebrow piercing for a while, but I was not 18 at the time, and did not know good piercing places. Then in the summer of 2002 I finally went back to (in my opinion) the best place on earth... my homeland, Moscow Russia.

I was there for 6 weeks and the week before I had to go back to the states =(, I decided to get my eyebrow pierced. I am not sure but I guess you have to be 16 or something to get a piercing there, and with the currency difference, it would not cost much at all. So I told all my friends that I wanted to get a piercing, we went to a piercing place close to where I was staying. The people seemed very nice, so I decided to go get my money and ask my mom (which was the biggest mistake). As soon as I asked my mom she started yelling at me and telling me I could not do it, it made me really REALLY upset, not for the fact that I could not do it (because I was about to turn 18 anyway), but I got upset mostly for the fact that I LOVE my home country and I wanted to leave with something that I will have for a very long time.

Then we went back to the states, and 3 months later in September I had to go to college YAY J. When I started college I was still 17, but my birthday was about a week or two after I got here. So before my birthday I asked few of my "new friends" if they knew any good studios and piercers. That is when I found out about Planet Three, it is a very nice, clean, friendly place, and all the people have told me how nice that place is.

Four days after I turned 18, I went to get pierced. I got there and asked for Adrian (my friend recommended him to me). But he was not in yet... so they called him and he was there in 15 minutes. I told him what I wanted, picked out the jewelry, filled out the paper work. Then they gave me this little card with like this little line on it and I put my initials on there, and they went to sterilize everything... the needle, the jewelry, gloves, the little card where I put my initials, and umm oh yeah the forceps.

Then I went to the back room, I love that room it has a big dentist type chair, and the whole room is this lavendarish bluish color, which is very relaxing. Adrian went over the procedure with me, then he got all the supplies in the little tray, he showed me the card that I initialed earlier and the line now had dark lines on it, and he explained that they appear if everything is sterilized properly.

Finally it was time for the actual piercing. I was really exited at that time so I might not mention everything that happened during the procedure. Adrian put on some gloves, and cleaned off the area with this yellowish lotion type stuff that smelled like a hospital. Then he marked my eyebrow, and let me look at it to make sure I was happy with the placement, which I was. He then put the forceps on there, and he was telling me everything that was going on. Then he said that on the third breath out, he was going to pierce.

Adrian has a very calm voice, which is a reason why some people do not like to get pierced by him, they say he's so calm its freaky, but I personally really like that. He then started to count down the breaths...

Take a deep breath in,

And let it out,

Take a deep breath in,

And let it out,

Take a deep breath in,

And

I said "OH SHIT" And that was it, it hurt for that split second that the needle went thro, it wasn't even bad at all, and I did not feel him putting in the jewelry (thank god for internal threading).

Then Adrian went over the aftercare with me, asked if I had any questions, which I did not, then he told me that if I ever did, to call or email him or the other piercer.

I took care of it like I was told and it healed really fast. Since then I got 7 other piercings, 2 of which is in my other eyebrow, but those are a completely different story.

If anyone is in Savannah GA area I would definitely recommend going to Planet Three, they are a great clean, and friendly place... and for those who aren't around here u can check them out on the web at www.planetthree.com

Thank you for reading my story.
