Hi my name is Robyn and I am 15 years old. I have my eyebrow pierced and I've had it for about a year. I got it in Feb. while I was in 8th grade.

It all started when I was in 6th grade. I told my mom that I wanted my tongue pierced or a tattoo. My mom went crazy and kept talking about how it will be ruining your body and all that bull. But I didn't give up. I kept on and on and on until I made a deal with her. The deal is that i can get my eyebrow pierced if I don't talk about a tattoo or piercing ever again. And when I get out of the house I can add as many holes in my body as I want (and I still plan to.)

So we made a plan to go and get my eyebrow pierced. I was going to take two of my friends, Lauren and Megan. I was only 14 then, and I am still in school so I had to figure out a good day I could get to done so it can have time to adjust in my head. So I picked a Thursday (It was a half-day and we didn't have school on Friday.) So after school I found Megan and Lauren and my dad drove us to my house. There I washed my face, and we watched jenny Jones. I was kind of getting a little scared because this is my first real piercing, I had my ears done a while ago. So the time came and I was so physiced I got my two forms of ID and shoved Megan and Lauren in the car and my mom drove all of us down in the LOOP!!

I brought the address from the yellow pages so I wouldn't forget it, but it had moved! All this waiting and the placed moved! But luckily it only moved down the street. So we got parked and walked in. The place was kind of busy but not jammed with people. My mom and me went to go fill out forms and Megan and Lauren went to go look at tattoos. The guy at the counter was really nice and he asked me all these questions to make sure I was really me. He asked me what I was going to get done and which if I wanted a ring or a barbell. I wanted a barbell but my mom made me get a ring. But rings are good too.

So after all the forms were filled out Kristy called me to come in the room. Kristy is the coolest person!! She had tattoos and pairings every were! So she took me in the little room, and my mom and my friends followed. It was really clean and that made my mom feel a little better, but not all the way. Kristy told me to sit down in the seat while she gets my papers. The seat was so cool! It was like a dentist chair but it had a skull and crossbones on the back. Well anyways Kristy came back in and wiped off my eyebrow and put two dots on it. She asked me if I liked the place, and I said yes. After that she got a wrapped needle from a shelf, and she told me that I had nothing to worry about, and that she has been doing this for a while. My mom made sure that she saw her take it out of a plastic wrapper, so it wasn't used already.

She told me what was going to happen, and made sure I would be all right with it, and of course I was. Kristy put a clamp on were the dots were. I've heard that the clamps are going to hurt but it really didn't. I guess those people were pansies. Well she put the clamp on my brow and my mom turned away real quick! Kristy told me to close my eyes and counted to three. While this was happening Megan and Lauren were wigging out! When she got to three I felt a little pressure in the clamp, but that was her taking it off. and then she hooked the ring on and I was done!! My mom and my friends were happy it was over and kept asking me if I was okay and if it felt weird. I didn't really feel it in my head. Then Kristy told me what I have to do to clean my brow and gave me a paper about it. But I was happy! I paid and I also got a special cleaning stuff, and we all walked out! I was so happy! I kept looking at it in the mirror! I couldn't wait to tell all of my friends at school!

The first couple of days were going good, and then I had to go to school. One person almost pulled it because they thought some thing was in my hair!!! But I was happy that it was over with and I had lots to tell my classes.

And now its been over a year and 'im still happy with it!! I'm trying to get my mom to get my lip pierced!! But allot of work to do! If you were thinking about getting your eyebrow pierced then I think you should!!! But if your mom or dad won't let you, go for something huge! Like I did, then they will have to give in to the one you really want! Email me if you need more information.
